[Dr.Fetus] How Mari0 would be on the DS
This will be 100% epic sauce.
Simple... I dreamed of a guy that where playing Mari0 just like how it should be on PC.
But then, I've think of a stylus...
And then, Mari0 where shooting Portal just like where the stylus where used.

Although it would work very well, this would probably not happen.

hmmm. let's begin porting love to 3DS.
and I am glad to help!

I'd like that, but there would have to be an external way to control left/middle/right click, mostly because left clic -> blue, right clic -> orange portal. Or maybe there could be an alternating system where you shoot one blue, one orange portal. But that would mean much less controls one which portal you shoot.
Well, why not a little pannel on-screen with the icon of a blue portal and a orange one ? You see... To switch between blue portal and orange one, hit the orange one in the pannel. And for getting back the blue one, same action, but you have to hit the blue one. The panel could be on a corner... Creative, hu ?
Or, as an alternative shortcut, the default portal is blue, but if you hold down the L or R button, it turns to orange, then back to blue once you release.-Melon- wrote:Well, why not a little pannel on-screen with the icon of a blue portal and a orange one ? That's more like what I was thinking. Come to think of it, some people will be playing on tablets or such, and it could be useful to have a key to control blue/orange portals (usually you have to hold down the stylus for a second to do a right clic, it doesn't work with most games including mari0)Pyr0saur wrote:Or, as an alternative shortcut, the default portal is blue, but if you hold down the L or R button, it turns to orange, then back to blue once you release.
That is in theory a good idea, but the DS has horrible shoulder buttons. The 3DS has nice ones, but it's probably much harder to code that, and there's no actual way to make it as of right now.Pyr0saur wrote:Or, as an alternative shortcut, the default portal is blue, but if you hold down the L or R button, it turns to orange, then back to blue once you release.-Melon- wrote:Well, why not a little pannel on-screen with the icon of a blue portal and a orange one ? There would have to be a direct Love to DS port for any of this to work. If that happened, though, it would be relatively easy. The game already has a button input system, so there wouldn't be much extra coding involved.Camewel wrote:That is in theory a good idea, but the DS has horrible shoulder buttons.
