There's something wrong with the top row's feet.
Also the size of the quads won't matter with the character system, just that they're consistent.

I know I had to delete some of his feet in order to fit him into the top row :S
also I'm uploading the big sprites now.

Well from what we've been told, it is likely that maps can be converted to the new format and most data will remain intact, mainly only entities will need to be redone. So there's definitely no harm in getting the general level layouts done before Mario SE comes.

Re-read what I said, it is a good idea to get the general level layouts done now and do the final touches later when Mari0 SE comes out rather then waiting and doing both when Mario SE comes out. I never implied it would be playable, only that getting the level designs done in advance was a good idea.
