I actually thought of the same thing too a while back. I didn't say it before because such would be kinda useless since Mari0 is 2D, not 3D.

But I do like your idea of reflection cubes redirecting lasers' directions on a x or y axis.

how would it react to a vertical laser from the ceiling? Would it go left or go right?
I guess I'm confused by the logistics of a 2D version of the mechanic.
