Online Multiplayer Question

How many players does the online multiplkayer of Mari0 will support?will be the same as the offline or will have a limit?Also,when the host chooses a downloaded mapppack(not the 2 originals that comes with the game),does the others players need it?

The initial release of Mari0 will not have online multiplayer, sorry.

One player will be the server, other clients. Plan is to also allow joining by a game name (no messing about with IPs, just words), but we'll see how that works out

anyway, for online to work the way Saso described, we'd need a central lan type server/lobby for all copies of Mari0 to connect to. otherwise, the ip connection would be an option, especially with Hamachi in question.

When netplay does get introduced i would like the option for typing in an ip and an option for typing in a game name or something

I dont care about doing good grammar or spelling on the internet because its not school or a job

And when online multiplayer does come it should have unlimited amount of player

Also, it is rather important to have good grammar and spelling on the Internet. It helps make you look more intelligent and, it's easier for people to read.

I guess that makes sense, for people that need good grammar to look intelligent or that feel like they need strangers to think they are intelligent.
