suggested rule change

Bricks that are still in motion should not be able to cause you to lose the game. Only if all bricks are at rest and a new brick needs to come in should you be able to lose the game. As it stands now, there are strategies you could try using momentum to make bricks bounce which are too dangerous because they could make you lose even though you haven't filled the screen with bricks and one shouldn't be afraid to experiment. just my suggestion

loool I didn't check -_-
it don't think it changes that much whether bricks make you lose after they "stop" moving

yeah it does. i might have to show you a video. if you press the "down" button, it increases brick momentum, which if you do it long enough can in some cases cause all the debris to bounce around like crazy and re-arrange itself - kinda like shaking a trash bag so all the trash gets more compacted in the bottom. But it's dangerous because a small fragment could get flipped up above the top of the screen and kill you even though there's nothing under it keeping it up there. I've had this happen with a relatively small amount of stuff out

been playing not tetris 2 a ton lately while waiting for mari0 to come out :)

also watching deep space 9 at the same time mostly

i'm usually quite slow and super careful to try not to be too affected by physics, so it hadn't really shocked me

isn't adding physics the whole point of not tetris?

yeah, but I find it interesting to try and fight against them (trying to get a brick into a hole is sometimes 10x harder than in tetris)

small correction my friend
edit: (trying to get a brick into a whole is ALMOST ALWAYS 10x harder than Tetris)

cheers
