I finally found some acceptable G4 pony merch in my country so I bought 20 Blindbags of the same series and did not get a single double.

Wow, Six recolors of Twilight.
One looks like Apple Fritter, but it's a Stallion.
One (sorta) has the color palate of Fluttershy, but the Mane and Tail is wrong.
A recolor of Rarity.
One's Hat-less Applejack.
One's Rainbow Dash (hard to see the rainbow-colored mane with the lighting).
And one looks like Applebloom (far left), but it can't be. She has a Cutie Mark.

Those are the only ones that stood out to me.

So... I'm learning to draw ponies, but I think a 3D animation would work too. Or that 3D pony creator MIGHT come in handy for rendering stuff that's supposed to be huge and to emphasize how cool big it is it HAS to be 3D rendered.

I'm pretty sure double rainboom has been in production longer than we've known of alicornication. Expecting them to suddenly go change that up just so it fits after season finale (which, I'm sure, is not really something they planned or cared for since it fits elsewhere in the series) is just stupid, especially considering their (lack of) budget.

After watching it...
They should have put WAAAYYY more emphasis on the fan made part.

 The foster's thing was just for puuting all of faust's work into it, and pinkie's randomness is more or less exaggerated. Other than that, it was okay. Besides throwing in a troll face in there for no reason and waay too many cameos (dipper and link costumes anyone? Also domo) it was alright. No alicorn twi but that's okay. That episode was pretty good anyways. I really liked it, seeing as it was the fandom who made it. The only problem was all the cameos (I'm pretty sure I saw a Pokemon somewhere in the episode...).

This is what happens when you have no artistic direction and discipline and end up doing 100% fanservice

Pinkie laughing at 25:05 for absolutely no reason, even for Pinkie Pie.
The story was...asdfmovies have better stories.
Also, "today i've learned to not take things i don't belong to"...seriously? THAT was the lesson? What about "to not overdo things or you might end up losing control, hurt your friends, and go out of bounds"? No?

On a related note of fan made stuff, I found some Team Fortress 2 Pony servers. If you ignore all the annoying crap, they're really good. (Some have regular squeakers coming online and screaming in the voice chat.) If anybody is still into that game I can give their names to ya.

What's the point of a pony server? I mean, how is it any different from any other server? About 1/3 of TF2 players are s anyway.

Don't ask me. People made the servers, so I guess there was an audience for TF2 Pony servers. They're mainly there to DM in crappy Ponyville maps and other notable places.
They also have a Clocktown map ported straight from Majora's Mask

I thought it was good and actually loved the cameo stuff. The pacing was my only problems since Twilight spent literally a minute just mixing stuff at the beginning and making faces.

Sometimes telling your own story is better than trying to capture how the show tells it's stories, which is why I still have a softer spot for PONY.MOV
