I must ask one question: Why are custom characters not allowed? I know that equipment and everything but if you're allowing Miis you may as well allow customs.

Also I'm joining this.

Joining, only available every other week though so some of my matches might be delayed.
(Also I agree with the custom characters thing, custom moves should be allowed but not badges.)
And how could you start on the pi day of the century?

The stage lineup is terrible and the requirements for smash balls in matches is dumb
otherwise i would've joined

So how long until we finish up the first round?
I can't exactly play the Wii U version until Wednesday, but both Turret and I have the 3DS version subsitutable.

Okay, i guess 3DS can be substituted given these time circumstances.
Depending on how this goes, we'll see.

Welp Hatninja kicked my ass. I learned I'm better with Ness than Dr. Mario. Almost had him the 2nd time though.

I would say ness is just very good against more short-ranged characters like the ones i chose. Dr. Mario is the one had me scared though. With a lot more practice, the match would've turned out way more different.

To turret or pillow (whoever wins): Sorry, but you'll have to wait a while. I can't get on the internet right now because I'm back at my island house. I won't be back until sometime in April.

Winner: Mega Man Villager

Round 2: Pac-Man MegaMan (9.0) vs. Villager R.O.B. (Pillow Cake)
Winner: Pac-Man R.O.B.

Good games all around.
Side note: before these two matches there was one where idiot 3-stocked me after I forgot to select a custom character.

Also I must fight Hatninja either tomorrow or in two weeks.

Upcoming match perhaps on Monday or virtually any other day of this week between me and hatninja.
Also matches E and F need to happen so that the final match isn't too delayed.

Woah I need to bump this before there's no clear victor and everyone gives up.
For some reason me and Hatninja can't get a match together, I'll try all throughout this week.
Edit: I won, the second game we played was pretty close.
Everyone else needs to start fighting again so this tournament can wrap up.

It's been awhile since we last fought under tournament rules, so we should fight under those same rules again. Mostly because being entered into an official competition against someone good at smash puts me into a healthy panic mode where I don't run into fully charged smash attacks.

Same tournament rules as this tournament minus smash balls and it's 2 stock.

When I think tourney, I think 1v1 for glory mode styled matches (2 stock, 5 mins, no items and omega form). But eh, it really depends on the tourney.

The stage choice seems a little odd

Stages with walk off-ledges (Coliseam, Wii Fit, Boxing Ring and Castle Siege) give a big disadvantage to aerial based-characters by removing edge guarding. Big Battlefield and other large stages allow for fast characters to kite around their opponent and time them out. And items aren't really a thing you see in tournaments because they add a randomness factor wich can ruin the match.

Just throwing that out there
