Fun fact: I found the 10 mocking images pretty enjoyable.
I only got concerned when one of the images got more upvotes than the actual logo I posted.

Anyways, I've been drawing again. I would've colored it if I had my colored pencils around.
I know, I know. It doesn't entirely fit in with the Mario theme- I only drew the sword in because it balanced the pose. I'm working with Mit to find a solution.

Woo, it's time for more crappy, unprofessional photos!

I've recieved almost unanimous approval with this design, so it's pretty dang close to final.

Edit: okay, I guess I have one more step to go.

1) Who do you play as in SMB2 / SM3DW? (Do you choose randomly?)
2) Why do you play that character? Is it because of their abilities, or do you just like those characters?

(I'm conducting this poll to see how balanced characters should be in respect to each other.)

Well in SM3DW, i choose Luigi because he jumps high which helps me when i am about to die or fall into a pit.

Edit: Forgot to mention i don't choose randomly unless a really short level.

In SM3DW, Luigi, cause I like the character, except in the more difficult levels I choose Peach because of the OP float ability - in SMB2 I choose peach because for whatever reason I suck at that game

In SM3DW, I choose blue toad.
It's a combination of liking the increased speed and liking the color blue.
