Anyway, good luck. Gotta finish school. Then maybe I'll gave time to make a course or 2. (Usually takes me a few hours for 1 level)

I know practicly nothing has been made yet, but would custom tilesets (my fav being TLL one) be ok? Or just the stock tileset and the .txt file?

So, I'm locked in a tight debate on whether I should have Turtle: Invaders free or paid on Google Play/iOS App Store. I mentioned it would be free to friends (I didn't promise it would be) but I also want a profit. The other problem is I don't want advertisements in the game if it is going to be free.

Any suggestions guys?

Just making it non-free won't magically make you money.

Ask yourself how much money you want to make, then ask yourself "would profit/price/0,5 people buy this game?"

If you don't have experience releasing a (mobile) game, release it for free. Then you get feedback from people who don't know you, which is something you can't really buy with money.

Not that I have experience with mobile games at all, but that's just my gut feeling. No idea what the Google/Apple software stores are actually like (which makes the "release for free to see response/adoption" even more valid I guess).

Yeah that sounds quite valid of an argument. The other thing I'd do is a small "minigame" app worth some small amount of money like $0.99 and it'd be like donations, but I don't even know if the stores allow for such a thing.

Loading random levels is fully completed and working. I did it last night. It was pretty easy since I already knew what to do.
I got it to load custom tilesets from imgur, but they don't actually load in-game yet. I have an idea for that, though.

So the answer is yes. The only thing I don't think I can do is custom music but I'll try.

That's one of the main reasons. The other was that they they thought Reddit was doing this to please advertisers. I didn't give a crap that /r/fatpeoplehate or /r/s*n*say was banned. It didn't affect most people either. People just love drama, and thus, Reddit's 8chan was born. (Voat was made 2 years ago, btw)

I went to Voat to build a strong presence there, much like I did with Reddit.com/r/androidcirclejerk. (I have a sub-subreddit for it called /r/ACJEyebleach).

Now I see that Voat is just an entirely different type of community. I still think Atko is cool though.

Apparently I can't make new/alt accounts because it records your IP or something. Glad to see that they thought of a away to prevent Unidaners. (Google it)

Also, if it randomly picks out a level, is there still a chance it won't re-play a level already played during that session? Also, I didn't think it would be possible to make the 16th selected level (last level) a castle level. But if it will, how are you making that possible?

In all seriousness, getting custom tiles to work turned out to be more difficult than I thought it would be, so it's not actually done yet. I haven't worked on it since the day after my last post about it, but I'll try again today. Also, I could check castle levels through their spriteset. Preventing repeats, on the other hand, isn't gonna happen. It's not even in SMM, though the amount of levels it has easily hides it.

Aw well. If the "last level castle level" doesn't work out, it doesn't matter really. Its just for..eh..convenience? What's the word...

And if custom tiles aren't working, I can make levels without them. Unless you really wanna get that to work.

I listen to everything with headphones. Music, YouTube videos, Audacity, video games, etc. Sometimes I talk to people on the phone with headphones because I hate getting the screen all oily, and I don't have a screen cleaner (inb4 just use your shirt). I've met very many people who do the same thing.

I want something better than I have now, and at this point, anything is. Apple headphones suck. I've already gave an explaination why I don't like them on Reddit, so I'm not even going to bother repeating myself. I don't like Beats either. There is way better headphones than Beats I can get for a cheaper price.

Yup! :) Though I think it's 1 red, 3 blue. As far as telling time goes I'd reckon the one red is 12 O'clock.
