I tried Pikmin 3 last night, and let me just say it was one of the BEST games I ever played. There's stuff like NSMB around and this game still doesn't get nearly as good reviews as it should. I never liked a game so much I bought it the same day. So, I'm adding Pikmin 3 to my top 100 games list.

PIKMIN 3 WOO.
I almost never see anyone enjoy or even know about the Pikmin franchise, and Olimar beingin smash is sometimes the only way I can relate Pikmin to people.
While I like Pikmin 3, 2 is my favorite game of all time, and I recommend getting the Wii rerelease if you can find it.
One last note:
Ironically, NSMBU is made by the team that made Pikmin 3, which I believe might be a different team than the ones behind Pikmin & Pikmin 2- I couldn't really find which of several development teams made those games.

At the moment, It's just being developed for IOS, but, later, if I'm able to, I would definitely want to put it on other devices.
Basically, I would like to put it on other devices, but currently am unable to.

In case anyone is wondering why the FNaF series is so popular, here's an explanation, as requested by a friend.'
The Five Nights at Freddy's game series is such a good and popular game series, because of many reasons. First one is this: All of these games were made by only a single person, he creates everything, the game engine, the game, the models, the graphics, everything. Second one is the details of the Animatronics, Scott Cawthon puts a lot of effort into these, to make them as detailed as possible, and he's making them quickly as well! Third one is gameplay, this is the first game ever which doesn't allow you to move around the building, but instead you're inside a office, where you're helpless. All you can do is either
a) use the cameras, and the only line of defense are doors.
b) use the cameras, and the only line of defense is a flashlight and a mask
c) You use the camera's, and that's the only line of defense you have

No game before did use that concept (Maybe nightrap, but that's completely diffeent) The game is original in that way. Seeing Animatronics come closer to you, while all you can do is watch them using a camera is scary.
and fourth, the lore. The Five Nights at Freddy's history is really dark. The Animatronics were possesed by dead children, killed by "The Purple Man" Here's more or less what happened https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1kw1RmzrPc

That's the reason a lot of people love this game. It's original, it has a dark story, it's very well made, and is just amazing.

That much original the third time around huh? While I see your arguements is there really that much more content between games gameplay wise to keep it new and interesting? I've seen gameplay of the first two games and it doesn't seem all that different.

Yes, its different. In FNaF 2 You have a lot of more work to do. You have to flash the lights on the Animatronics to make them move slower, and if they manage to get into your office, you have to put on the Freddy Mask very quickly. You have to also Wind Up the music box, in order to keep the Puppet asleep. Oh, and there are no doors now, but vents, and a giant hallway. When you watch videos of it, it might not seem too different, but boy, it is a lot different if you play the game.
And FNaF 3, YOU HAVE TO FORGET EVERYTHING YOU KNEW BEFORE. The gameplay in FNaF 3 is completely different. Yes, you still use the cameras, but that's the only thing you can do. You don't have any Freddy mask, or doors this time. In order to keep Springtrap away, you have to use the Audio System, so he moves away from your office. There are also vents, lots of vents. You have to seal them away so Springtrap won't use them as a shortcut to end your night. "Oh, but can't you just keep being on one camera and keep using the Audio?" Nope. From time to time, the more you use the various systems, the systems will glitch out, and you will have to move to the left side of the office, and restart them. It's also the most scary game of all the three, and gives you extreme big tension.
Kinda related: I can't manage to beat Nightmare Mode in FNaF 3 :(

I guess the games get scarier every game, amiright? But I guess the scariest imo is the 2nd one. I mean, there's a long hallway straight into your office. And they could be watching you... and just stand there... menacingly

Also, the wide variety of characters in Mirai Nikki really amazes me. I still can't believe they managed a collaboration between Liam Neeson, Patchouli Knowledge, Stapleton, Overly Attached GF, The Mask 3!Light Yagami, Purple Dark Chao, the critically acclaimed terrorist from "Kawaii Terrorist Hour," Delicy Scone, Tara Strong probably, Engaged Spaghetti, Baby Eddie, Sitcom Parents, Adam Jensen, Shinji, AND the Hash Slinging Slasher!

I'm going to go finish that now so I can sleep again. Maybe I'll get around to writing some reviews for the anime thread.

Even the death scare part everyone knows it for is ruined by the hallucination scare, getting jumped right after that doesn't work because you're expecting it to be another hallucination so you think nothing of it.

I made it clear I don't like these games, but you seem to see something in them that you're really passionate about.
and looking at this wall of text you've written you seem to like it for the mechanics and lore (I don't get why anyone would like the best part of a horror game being it's story but I digress) rather than getting a thrill from being scared of it. so do you think you could explain what about this is so scary from the previous two, or do you just like the game in general? I'm not trying to have a go.

Also 3 years wow this place went to hell fast. :P

*Question*

I find it scary because it improved a lot from the previous game. For instance, one of the cameras can have randomly Phantom BB appear, and you never know when it will. Seeing something appear which wasn't there before is horrifing, if you don't switch the camera, he will jumpscare you, and you'll think you're dead. But you're not, you're still alive and are nervous about what's going on, why are you still alive? Why did he appear? And adding the fact that he disables the Ventilation System, and you have to spend time restarting it, you'll be worried about where Springtrap (The new main Animatronic) currently is. There's also Phantom Freddy surrounded in shadows, moving past the window in your office, and after he while, he hides to the ground, and you have no idea at all where he is.
Or Phantom Puppet:
Image
If he appears on CAM 08, the office will fade out and the Puppet will be staring at you accompanied with glitchy, creepy audio for a few (5-9) seconds.
Also in this game, you have to focus a lot on the cameras. When you try to find Springtrap on them, you'll have to look carefully, if you don't look carefully, you'll be nervous because you won't know where he is. And there's always a chance as well that if you lower the camera, he will look at you through the window, or the door. Or just peek through it. It's scarier than it sounds. I could say a lot more, but it would get probably above the text limit :P
In other words, the game makes you never know what will happen, it's very unexpectable, and makes you fear a lot. I understand that you don't like the game, or aren't scared of it, but for me it's a very well made horror game. But if you play a lot of Horror Games, you won't be scared by this too much probably.
You can avoid the jumpscares after you play it for the while, but just seeing BB on the camera or Puppet staring at me still gives me the chills..
Image
Yes. That's a human skull.
Many people think this is a cash grab, even though it isn't. Scott Cawthon, the game developer is able to create the games so quickly, because he's a very talented man. He originally didn't plan to make FNaF 2 or FNaF 3, but fans really wanted them. And with the money he received, he was able to make the 2 and 3 game a lot better, and more detailed.

So if you haven't got an IPhone, don't worry.

I, too, am enjoying it.
I find it annoying that you can't place girder blocks in the same place as normal ground like you could in the previous game. Normally it doesn't affect the game, but when you're trying to use slopes, the girder blocks must be very far away.

A lot has been changed, actually.
Placeable ladders are replaced with lifts, there's the new Mini Luigi, The new Cannon Kong, The new cursed Mini, Pink cubes from M v DK 2 have made a comeback, Button and Button Blocks, Mini DK has been redesigned, Gold Mini makes a comeback from M v DK 2, and, of course, the new online levels system.
