Saso said he should change the Twatter image to that. And he did...

The Plane image is from Top Gear Series 4 Episode 8, doesnt have a name
The flipped car is from DownTown no Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende, as for the episode, there are 2 possibilities: either is from episode 754 called Ibuke we Isatsu Patotsu(only downloadable episode featuring poilice), or is it from another unknown episode...unknown because there is not a complete list of downloadable episodes(or with info about what they're about), and all that can be found about episodes that are not downloadable is official DVDs and partial vidoes like the one linked.

This made me pretty sad. I like to think that when companies acquire other companies they do it for the good of the project. I mean I haven't heard news about facebook changing the oculus rift since the buy out. However what happened to Rare was sad. I mean reduced to making avatars and other shitty stuff rather than Microsoft letting them craft games like they used to is a waste of a company.
However every game that Rare made still exists. Even if Minecraft was shutdown tomorrow, people would find ways to play the game. I trust in modders to never let a good thing die and to improve everything they're given.

I'm quite fine with the buyout. In fact, I think it was a wise move by Mojang. Minecraft was dying, so selling it was not a bad idea.

Every game's popularity dies out after being out for a certain time. Minecraft has been out for ages now and interest is bound to die out sooner or later.
It's amazing that it lasted as long as it did and still does, but keeping it going is going to be hard without some kind of major reboot. Adding content isn't going to help because the principle of the game will stay the same.

He didn't do it for the money, he did it for his own sake. His "Fanbase" was putting too much pressure on him.
Then I know. Be careful around game development, and stay strong. Studying game devs has it's advantages.

This is pretty much exactly what happened with Flappy Bird.
I can already imagine the millions of people that are going to go crazy because of this.

They've gotten $5,000 in 3 hours and they need $5,000 more and we have 2 hours left. Fingers crossed... I'm sure a lot of people (myself included) are going to be pretty ticked off if this doesn't go. It's a great project though and even hopes aside realistically there is a really good chance it'll make it.
Not that this is going to make me any less nervous for the next 2 hours
