My 3DS broke a week before I get the game. Now I have to send it in to Nintendo and wait till i get it back.

Do you even know how stressful it is to limit yourself into how many times you play?
I would had already played it over 30+ times if it weren't for that.
Also I really can't get the hang of Megaman no matter how many times I play as him.

Just never close the demo and you'll be fine.

Isn't Mega Man the hardest to main due to his projectile attacks? Some friends of mine complained about it :P

Mega man A smash moves are more powerful than his B moves (seriously almost all his B moves are like Marios fireball) and his physics are a bit weird so that's probably why... Also I'm getting a physical release so I have to wait until tomorrow for mine.
Something kinda weird though, I went to the e-shop and it says it comes out tomorrow but you can still buy it so I'm wondering what that's about.

Here I thought Megaman was gonna be my main man this time, but I'm absolutely loving Pac-man and his moveset. He's just so interesting and his Final Smash is hilariously wonderful.
Megaman's also very great regardless. His smashes are definitely some of the highlights and majority of what you'll be using but you can rack up damage somewhat nicely with his specials. Also his tilts, the uppercut and slide, are useful too.

Needless to say I'm always up for some Smashing.

I honestly don't know why, but yeah he was my main cos I sucked at everyone else... but now that I have access to my brawl main, Pit, his continued to be my main. I know he was a bit OP in brawl but they seemed to have appropriately nerfed him in this one, which is ok since it seems I'm still able to decently well without his spammy spin slash

Am I the only one disappointed about how the new hammer flip move works?
It feels to me like it takes too long from pressing the button to actually attacking.

I have forgotten what the hammer flip is, and therefore cannot comment. On a side note, I've been doing smash run and I think I might have a second main, cos I've been doing really darn well with greninja. His ability to shadow teleport is really useful as both a recovery and offensive technique.

Anyone heard of Harmony of Heroes? It's a fan Smash album with 101 tracks that was released today, the perfect complement to the new official tracks. Right now, the downloads are down, having already exceeded bandwidth limits, but torrents are available while they get mirrors up.

My 3ds is on the verge of being shattered into a million pieces because of bullshit lag on this game. I have lost so many games because they can see what's coming and counter it with ease on their shitty connection. Please just pair me with people who can afford internet Nintendo.

Wouldn't your games lag just as much as theirs? Time can't slow down on their end, but remain a natural speed on yours.

You're thinking of physical lag. He's referring to internet lag.

I'm referring to surprise attacks, and how predictable they are when you have 30 seconds to see what is going on. (Some characters have a less visible smash than others) I'm starting to think they do it on purpose because of the advantage it gives them. :L

Also, I jinxed myself. My 3ds broke. I can't use it until I send it in and get it repaired -_-

yesterday i lost my reciept with my download code on it.
today i bought the game again with the money i was using for christmas.
it was worth it and i am more than ready to kick some ass with green mario.

to be honest, there's a high chance that in these early days there is a lot of lag due to the huge amount of people on the servers right causing it to slow down. It may take a while for them to become more stable while there are so many around, so you just need to wait.

Given that Nintendo already sold 2.5 million copies of 3DS Smash alone, waiting will only do so much for the lag. Nintendo may have to beef up their servers before the Wii U version drops.

At the same time, people will probably have a 3ds version when they get the WiiU version, so it's unlikely they'll play both online at once.

Speaking of online's lag, hows it working for everyone else? Error code has plagued me until it finally worked, the end result was a barrage of "Vs Little Mac" and a surprisingly lagless experience in the 1v1 mode, but 4 players online is way too laggy.

I've only had about 3 or so matches lag when playing with strangers and only 1 match with friends where lag was an issue. This accounts to 1v1, 3- and 4-player matches.
Other than that the online is near flawless. Definitely bounds above Brawl's.

I guess I'm lucky with the random matchmaking.

There's going to be a tournament at my college tomorrow, so I've been practicing with random characters to see who I have the best feel for. I'm not expecting to win, but it'll be fun!

I thought it would be funny if I came in and destroyed everyone with Dark Pit, since he seems to be the most disliked newcomer. I played a match just for lulz and I turns out I actually like his playstyle a lot, so I might actually enter with him. :P

Also daaaaaang, that 0% run. Do I have to be that good to win? I hope not.

Dark Pit's not a bad character by any means. He just has so little different from Pit that gives him an exact reason to be part of the roster. I remember seeing some people get angry on Lucina for that same reason. He still plays nicely though.

The only real thing I'm disappointed is that his name is "Dark Pit" and not "Pitoo". But that's not Smash's fault, that's Uprising's fault. Pitoo's just sound's so much better.
