You people keep bringing me old news.

(Let's all hope the Gamecube adapter supports the eventual release of Gamecube games on the Virtual Console; this is because the Wii U has no way of analog triggers right now, and some games depended on that.)

The back triggers were able to detect how much they were pressed down. All the way, part of the way, etc. Sunshine used that for spraying water - holding it a little let Mario continue to walk, and holding it a lot let Mario aim in place.

I haven't seen any game use more than either pressed a little or pressed a lot, so could those be mapped to R and ZR or something?

Steam Chat does not display the image.
There would only be a link in the Steam Chat, so you still wouldn't be seeing her in the Steam Chat itself.

I think you're missing the point here.
She could had just seen the video here and then freaked out about it in the Steam Chat.

Ok guys, so I have a japanese 3ds and they have a demo over there.
I've been playing it, and OH MY GOD. OH MY FUCKING GOD.

ok so let me say this; the 3ds graphics are actually amazing. The demo doesn't show much (you can only play as 4 characters, on one stage) but they are just... wow.
I think I'm going to be playing Robin a lot (sadly, they're not playable in the demo)

I'm just super hyped for this now, and I'm buying the full game on the 13th (japan's release date)

Edit: The fire stick item works as a homerun bat and masterballs summon legendaries almost every time(duh)

Someone brought their Japanese 3DS to shcool today as well, it looked really good.
On a side note, some Japanese players have managed to get a copy of the full game 3 days early.

Luna, Xero, and I all got demos.

I've already used up 2 of my codes, and I'm waiting on the other two to see if the people I offer it to want it.

I mean, I want to create a Brawl tournament at school for one of the codes, and I'm sure another friend of mine would be begging me right now if he had my email or something.
Brawl might fail because people lack 3DSs (if the winner doesn't have a 3DS, I'll give this code away.)
My friend might also have a code already as well.

If either fail, I'll give the code to someone who wants it desperately.
So yeah, a demo code might show up tomorrow afternoon or Monday afternoon.

Sorry in advance if this doesn't work out and I'm just making you cry harder. (Sorry Ren that you don't live in america)

I already gave my codes away, and I got the full game earlier today.. The starting raster is actually awesome. The mii fighters thing is cool, and the unlockables aren't impossible to get. Basically, you play through the normal stage mode (which is awesome btw.) and if you beat master hand or master and crazy hand then you get a item for your character or coins (which are also obtained by playing single player)
The game is amazing so far and am super satisfied with it. I'm going to try and figure out how to unlock the duck hunt dog and the other character tomorrow when I wake up.

I'm a bit confused. I'm pretty sure I was a platinum member, but I didn't receive any codes. Oh well.

Not all Platinum members got codes. I was Platinum status but I didn't get a code either. I had to wait until someone shared a code with me to get it myself.

Even if I would have a code, it wouldn't be used for a good while.

I've been a platinum member twice now, and I've registered my 3DS on Club Nintendo.
So yeah, I've had it for 2 years.

Keep in mind that it might be randomly selected.

Also:
I have one code left, I'm just going to have to see how Monday goes.

For those of you who didn't get codes, are you opted to receive emails from Club Nintendo? That's the only factor I heard about that really counts.

Also, I have one code left, if anyone needs it. NA region. EDIT: Gone.

The codes are selected from platinum members from the 2013-2014 year that have registered a 3DS.
So even if you fulfill those conditions, you're not guaranteed codes.

Nintendo wrote:Today, Club Nintendo members who have achieved Platinum status between July 1, 2013, and June 30, 2014, have registered Nintendo 3DS hardware or software, and have opted in to receive emails from Club Nintendo will receive an email containing four download codes for the demo.

Sorry for making you guys that didn't get demo codes cry harder, as i gave my last code away in the Brawl Tournament to a pair of twin brothers who were 1st and 2nd.
They're sharing, I guess.

it's also worth noting to Victinistar that I suck as Kirby in Brawl right now considering I'm not used to how smash attacks are performed in that game.
Yeah, it's the same as the 3DS, but the circle pad and analog stick are a little different.

The game handles a lot like Smash 64, which I really like. Faster pace fights, but still. I will plank you all as Weegie. Muahaha. Seriously, in Brawl, my Weegie is goddamn good. I'm hoping it'll be even better on 3DS.

The demo's pretty good as it is, even when you only have 5 playable characters.
And apparently I am also really good with Link all of the sudden.
