But, it doesn't, because I can't view the images!

I dunno how/why that happened...

I'm undecided on what tiles to make... I can see that the Beatbox Boombox tiles would be quite the perfect fit. Not to mention Tick Tock Clock's, Cake Land's, or Mechatroop Factory's... of course, those are the only options. And I choose to make scenery instead for Cake Land.

Now that I have a list, I can get to work. (I'm posting usually 2:00 AM my time in many cases, so posts may not be of quality or logical reasoning.)

For the level editor, I'm thinking of actually keeping all tiles that I'm making from accessibility. See, when you're given an example and the tools that made the example, you're very likely to make a copy or modification of the example. For instance, when I first played around with Mari0's level editor, I tried to make some good old Portal levels.
Of course, I will provide a few tilesets for use. (The grass tiles that I showcased would be excellent in such a situation.)

Having 20 signs encouraging to go get a popular tileset or making your own should do the trick...

Allow the use of your tiles, but you need to encourage the use of other tiles.

I'll be sure to heavily encourage other tiles. And include the full library of them...

It's just that I don't want 20 reframes of every level; I want more creativity from people who dunno what to make.

I'll be camping for the next week, so now is a really good time to work on concepts. Right now, there are 6 hours to submit any idea, concept, or suggestion.

Other news includes phasing out the once-planned Ice Flower with a hook that gives you water powers (Similar to how a leaf gives you "racoon" powers, or a bell gives you cat powers.) that are yet to be explained.

I'm back from that awkward post, and I haven't made any huge changes yet.

At least I responded to my first constructive criticism. viewtopic.php?f=11&t=3359&p=70724#wrap

I've been drawing quite a bit recently and am redoing my portraits.
I've re-designed the site because black didn't fit Mario. Link: http://ifonlysmb4.blogspot.com/

Question of the day: What's a Mario game without ? Blocks?
Answer:
Super Mario Sunshine. I guess ? Blocks are only to be found in the Mushroom Kingdom...

Then screw my question, because I have another:
Which has more (Mario) appearances: the lowly Goomba, Koopa, or the Pirahna Plant?

Goomba.
EDIT: Assuming you count multiple appearances per game.

He only meant the appearance itself, not the quantity in which it appears in games. (I asked Cake myself)

The Piranha plant actually topped the Goomba, as well as the Koopa. Between the two finalists, the Koopa appeared the most.
Both questions sucked. (Why did I even ask those...)
Feel free to come up with your own question.

I think it would be better for them to focus on the engine itself before creating any interfaces.

I've thought about the title screen, and I'm thinking of using the classic SMB-SMW arrow select screen with a scrolling background and such. Mappacks will be able to have their own backgrounds, logos, etc.

As for the title screen logo, I want to use the ? block background as the original SMB did, with the SMB3 font, and with a huge 4 that goes outside the box.

More news includes Victinistar's laptop being completely broken, with a new one coming within the next week.

Pikmin 3 also came out today, a game that I've been waiting for 7 years. At least we both have reasons to be excused at the same time...

Coincidence? No.

I made Tick Tock Clock grates a while ago, I just never uploaded them. I'm halfway done with the slopes for them too, although making tiles for them is incredibly easy.
http://imgur.com/a/4Cuux#0
For some reason imgur is putting weird pixels in the corners; this actually layers over (in some cases) the only black pixel on the tile. Not only that, but idiot me didn't pay attention to how empty spaces were filled in with black. (I wanted to avoid all this exporting in the first place, darn it...)
Give me a few minutes to upload what I actually created. (As well as delete every tile I uploaded...)
Edit: Wow the previews look like crap, even in .png format. (I probably should have unchecked 'save background colors' when exporting...) Clicking them should show what they really look like.

No offense but I don't think it's worth updating everyone that there's a new tile in the game. (especially when it's a simple one like that.)

I'ver only played the second Drawn To Life sadly. Yea, it's overdone word-distortion.

Sure, why not.
You could re-skin vegetables to look like snowballs, and replace the "sprout" with snow that disappears after picking it up.

I was goven te 2nd drawn to life for the DS on my birthday. It was super easy
>->

I also really like games that have just an after-final boss storyline, where everything is back to normal bad things with bowser, and everyone has set dialouge from that point on, as opposed to looping back to right before the final boss.

As we honestly cannot code for the life of us, don't even expect an alpha test phase for a couple of years... I'll try to find a summer camp regarding this. We are currently still in the Concept phase, this is a very old topic, I know, but I'd like to bring it back up. Cake is slowly running out of ideas for stuff to happen, we need some imagination! Drawings and/or ideas would be nice. (Never saw anything on not bringing up old posts so I am now) Also, if there is a topic on this, would someone please be kind as to point it out to me?

Running out of ideas?
We're filling out the papers 6 times faster than before.
(Maybe not this week though.)

One never runs out of ideas.
