I skied once and crashed into someone and went off an edge of the hill and stopped at a tree.

I don't ski anymore.

[offtopic]
Does someone know any program to make 8-bit or 16-bit musics? Yes, I know it was asked before, but I'm looking for something a little bit more specific. I'd love to have a program as easy as the music composer from old Nokia phones. Yes, that simple. I'm not musician, nor I know the musical notes, but in my mother's phone (which has this composer) I made some pretty decent musics. So, having something like this, to me, would be a lot easier than using those complex softwares. Thank you!

In a year Greenlight won't even exist anymore.

Self publishing will come to Steam and if it will be completely unmonitored it will be the worst thing to ever happen to Steam.

They added reviews, the report button and tags for a reason. I think Valve's goal is to have Steam to work like, well, the internet.
Ex with reddit: You could post almost any kind of shit you want on a subreddit and yet when I look at my reddit front page it's not complete shit. It's because there are tools(up/downvotes, subreddits) to filter out all these bad/uninteresting posts. And Steam will be (is already) also giving tools to filter all the games.
It's not a perfect system, but then neither is reddit's.

Except someone has to take the dive and pay money before being disappointed. WarZ caused a massive shitstorm and that was greenlit and before backlash started a lot of people who preordered it played it and many bought it in the mean time. Mind you that getting refunds from Steam is nigh impossible unless you manage be from the EU and it's national law that digital items have to be refunded with no reason provided.

I also can't wait for the inevitable "Trojan appears on Steam" news that'll come sooner or later.

I never liked Rogue Legacy just because of how painfully slow it progresses. Wander around the castle for 20 minutes and upgrade your health and attack about 1% each. Back in you go!

I got into Minecraft in 2009 and now the entire premise of it makes me irrationally angry.

Gentle Trist3D
- a short story
by God
Trist3D was thinking about Idiot9.0 again. Idiot9.0 was a selfish saint with brunette eyelashes and chubby spots.

Trist3D walked over to the window and reflected on his idyllic surroundings. He had always loved sleepy Sludgeside with its tense, troubled trees. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel concerned.

Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the a selfish figure of Idiot9.0 .

Trist3D gulped. He glanced at his own reflection. He was a gentle, generous, tea drinker with vast eyelashes and grubby spots. His friends saw him as a mushy, modern muppet. Once, he had even jumped into a river and saved a modern chicken.

But not even a gentle person who had once jumped into a river and saved a modern chicken, was prepared for what Idiot9.0 had in store today.

The hail pounded like hopping mice, making Trist3D relaxed. Trist3D grabbed a peculiar ruler that had been strewn nearby; he massaged it with his fingers.

As Trist3D stepped outside and Idiot9.0 came closer, he could see the mushy smile on his face.

"I am here because I want a pencil," Idiot9.0 bellowed, in a friendly tone. He slammed his fist against Trist3D's chest, with the force of 749 giraffes. "I frigging love you, Trist3D ."

Trist3D looked back, even more relaxed and still fingering the peculiar ruler. "Idiot9.0, I shrunk the kids," he replied.

They looked at each other with surprised feelings, like two giant, greasy goldfish thinking at a very stingy engagement party, which had flute music playing in the background and two smelly uncles hopping to the beat.

Suddenly, Idiot9.0 lunged forward and tried to punch Trist3D in the face. Quickly, Trist3D grabbed the peculiar ruler and brought it down on Idiot9.0's skull.

Idiot9.0's brunette eyelashes trembled and his chubby spots wobbled. He looked fuzzy, his body raw like a magnificent, mashed map.

Then he let out an agonising groan and collapsed onto the ground. Moments later Idiot9.0 was dead.

Trist3D went back inside and made himself a nice cup of tea.

THE END
Welp, that's enough Internet for me today, thanks.

Not to go completley off topic, but a somewhat big earthquake just happened.
It was a 3.6 or something.
Located in La Habra, California.

I'm sure the quake didn't hit me as hard as the number, but it was shaking noticeably.
Ah well, live and forget.

(The last earthquake I remember was 3 years ago, on Easter.)

Edit: It was actually a 5.3 earthquake, it took awhile for it to be posted.

Camewel, I still kinda regret buying Minecraft, it's just getting worse with each update.

The game that I started playing and I just couldn't stop playing it was Counter Strike: Global Offensive. Man I played every day, with my friends, until I've reached 260 hours (or something close to it).. Then I took a break and now I'm back at it, with my buddies.

Trist, that is clearly the best shipping / fanfiction / horror / macabre / life story. I absolutely loved it, despite being so fucking awkward.

Aaaand finally, earthquakes. Man I've never experienced any "big" earthquake, only little ones that I've never felt or were only on a really short period of time. The thing I'm scared about if I ever get into one of the earthquakes that is big enough to shake everything (which will probably happen at one point in everyone's life, right?) would the places that I've been told are the safest go down first? Would I survive under the rubble with all the food I've got / no food or water until the firemen find me? It's a pretty scary thought.

A 3.6 earthquake broke my TV once it was awful.

The worst earthquake in the history of the British Isles is a 6 (and no-one died from that) so I don't think it will happen to everyone.

Yes, I agree some states in the game go by relatively slow. Like the beginning, but you still feel really powerful, killing things with only a few hits.
But the game makes you work for whatever you want. No 'grind the brginning, die, then collectively get more gold until you can buy a thing.'. You actually have to walk around the castle. Dieing makes you lose all your gold, like failing, and you have to try again to get the thing you need.

I would urge you to try it out at least up to the first boss, that's when things get churning faster.

That depends a lot on where you live. Here, where I live, is one of the smallest cities in Brazil (even one of the smallest cities from the world, if I remember correctly). I'm 17, and in all those years I've never, NEVER, seen a crime in front of my eyes. I've never been stolen robbed (thanks Camewel), never seen a murder, nothing. I'm happy with my small town.

Brazil is a GIANT, continental-sized country. We have so many different things in each state that we could easily consider each one an individual country, with individual cultures and so on :)

I live in a city that at one point was "the worst place for stabbings in the whole of England", yet I've never seen a crime firsthand either.
Someone did walk into my house and steal my dad's car once though.
(the word is "robbed", not "stolen", "stolen" imples that someone didn't take your stuff, but actually just took you)
