actually upon closer inspection that tooth looks like an eye and the colour in the mouth looks like skin... Is there something Idiot's trying to tell us?

Dumb question but do you plan on making the full sprite sheet of them so they're compatible with Mari0? Because those are seriously good and need to be finished if you are able to.

FYI I think the feet would look a lot better with an extra pixel in the back underneath the red one. But other than that I think they're perfect, especially the heads.

Yarn looks pretty cool. I'm just glad that they let yoshi keep his standard of power of eating things, unlike the tyranny against kirby.
Yoshi's New Island looks even more amazing. Those graphics show a great standard yoshi game. It doesn't seem to focus on the Human's abilities as much as Yoshi's Island DS did.

So split on whether to get wiiU or 3ds...
On one hand, I have less time to play consoles and have enough console/computer games.
On the other hand, the wiiU is more players, which is a plus for my situation.
Never had a handheld console, though...

EDIT: Steam Sale! Halloween themed, though it's got a big variety

well if you're interested in pokemon, smash brothers and don't care about the graphic quality I'd suggest getting the 3DS.
otherwise I'd suggest getting a wii u, it may not seem like it's going to last but do you remember how people said that the 3DS was a repeated failure of the virtual boy?

It all depends on what games you want really. Like Renhoek said, Pokemon's on the 3DS and you'll get brand new Zelda coming next month on it as well. Wii U has NSMBU and a re-released Zelda already out though.
It really comes down to game choice and if you want that portability for the upcoming Smash Bros.
I believe the 3DS has a more expansive library of games currently as well.

Most of the games there utterly suck or are extremely boring. ;-; There are only a few good ones scattered around there.

I wouldn't get a new Nintendo console at all.
Nintendo has near zero third party support at the moment, and while first party games are usually the highlights of their consoles, there just isn't enough of them yet.
And the games that are coming are frighteningly safe plays by Nintendo.

The WiiU is getting more 3rd Party support than any other Nintendo product.
They're trying.
I don't care for most 3rd party games as the big titles tend to be shooters which aren't appealing to me.

Renhoek, and Idiot, yeah. Pretty much everything you've said has appealed to me. The biggest thing on the WiiU side atm that I like is NSMBU, but I have NSMBW, so that's not that big.
I've never had a pokemon game (but I know they are amazing), and I have link to the past on the virtual console, so the loz game would be pretty cool.
Plus I could play DS games, which would give me a ton of options.
The main thing on the WiiU side is the upcoming 3d Land.

I think I'm leaning toward a 3ds...
