Adobe is trying to phase out products and offering services instead, kind of like what Microsoft is trying with Office 365.
Creative Cloud is a collection of a lot of the CSS software (Photoshop, After Effect, Flash, etcetc) which you subscribe to and you can use as long as you pay the monthly fee, $50/m which is $600/a (or $20/m as a student which is $240/a).
They also offer each program as a single subscription, but at a pretty high price because they're trying to get you to pay for the "cheap" full package.
I can't comment on the learning curve, but there is a shitton of tutorials everywhere.
And the time it'll take to create an animation depends greatly on the type of animation, the desired quality and your experience.
You can still get the classic versions at Amazon, $600 for the normal one and $185 for the student version.

I play the piano way too much, like as in sitting down and playing whatever the heck I want without trying to play a song or anything and it's really fun, but when I'm not doing that, I'm playingWiloKing wrote:Anyone play any intruments? I play the alto saxophone.
Piano (As in actual songs that people can listen to and don't go on for 20 minutes)
Oboe
Alto Saxophone
Steel Drum
---------------- So those are the ones I can look at a piece of music and just like play it
I'm trying to pick up the bassoon right now
I want to at least be able to get a sound of the clarinet I found in the garage once I'm good enough with the bassoon
Oh and I also play the chair. So does another guy in our Steel Drum group. Don't ask. It just sort of happened.

Did you just figure that out?Maurice wrote:Adobe is trying to phase out products and offering services instead, kind of like what Microsoft is trying with Office 365.

They changed from CS to CC a while back. It's pretty sad, but $20 a month may be more affordable for people.

Okay, so can anyone help me with this?
When I try to play a MAME ROM on this, and I play with a ROM such as this one, it says it is missing a ROM or CHD file. I don't know where you find CHD or other ROM files, and this error happens on almost every ROM I download. The only ROMs that have worked are Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr.
You can see the error message here.

I have also tried to play on a MAME emulator before, but I kinda gave up.
I still haven't played Darkstalkers cause I'm kinda lazy.

Okay guys, this is gonna sound stupid, but I swear on Maurice this is absolutely real.
About a day ago, my friend came up to me with a DS Cartridge, claiming it was mine from ''back in the day.''
The cartridge was totally blank, I don't know why. I asked him what game it was, all he said was ''It's a surprise.''
This morning, I decided to see for myself what the game was, and it was my Pokemon Diamond, which I loaded with all kinds of trickery and cheats. It was totally normal.
I checked pretty much everything, and I'm 99.99 percent sure it's not creepypasta material. I decided to play the game from the beginning for a few minutes, in honor of the old days since today, I'm getting my 3DS XL and Pokemon Y. When I deleted the save file, my heart sunk for a second, and I was shocked for some reason.
I decided not to let the game scare me, and I proceeded to the intro. Rowan was totally normal, and everything was normal, until he asked me to press on the button of the Poke Ball on the touch screen. My touch screen is broken.

EDIT: Anyone know what's up with this guy? Seems like he's just posting random stuff that's completely irrelavant. Some kind of advanced spam bot or something? Just trying to help out. Sincerely, your VPOTOU :)

I do not have the compuiter capacity to play a game that realistic.
Actually, I don't have the computer capacity to play Terraria. So anything that requires more than that and my system will melt.

Realistic. As in "provides a realistic simulation of life on a natural satellite"? I'm sorry, your statement reminded me of that claim of theirs.copy wrote:I do not have the compuiter capacity to play a game that realistic.

I watched Steam Train play The Stanley's Parable demo. Does the demo actually demo the real game? Because how it was going it didn't seem like it. And there's parts that specifically said "Steam Train" and "God damnit Ross" in the video. Is there an option to add your name and such in the demo/game or did they get a specificly made demo?
no there's no option to add your name to the game, the creator just sent some modified demos to famous you tubers so that the narrator would speak the players names and make references to their channel.TripleXero wrote:I watched Steam Train play The Stanley's Parable demo. The demo is completely different to the final game, the final game is esentually a remake of the mod but with re written dialog heaps of new choices, updated graphics with more twists popping up the more you replay.
Personally I was kinda hoping that the final game followed the demo more than the original mod (I wanted more emotion booths and a 9 game damn it!) but the new content is so much fun to play around with.

Does anybody remember that one forum game where everybody ended up saying "Illuminati confirmed?"
Oh, yeah, I remember. It was since deleted, since it was inactive more than 30 days.
I forgot the name, and it's just vexing me.

Sorry to skip over your question Bob, but I need life advice.
I can go out with all my best friends in an awesome (and my first) party,
or stay with my father, and maybe go to MineCon
Help?

Depends on what kind of friends/father you have. Could you describe them?

They're these things called human, and they are very fleshy.
They speak using 'words' and such.
They see with their eyes, which is their primary way of navigating.
They also require food and oxygen to live.
They are very weird.
But seriously,
Is this a birthday party, or just something casual?
Also, Shadow's question
Also, how many friends are they? Are they close friends? Do you have stuff you'd be doing, or just chilling?
Depending on those questions would change my answer.
I don't know whether staying with your father is a typical event or a special event which can also change things.
As well as your interest in Minecraft (which I'm sure is high)
There's too many variables to answer that question well without more information

Halloween party
2 close friends, a bunch of casual friends, more than just chilling (I'd assume)
I don't have much interest in minecraft
visiting my g=father is a special event
My friends are nerdy, but fun.
My father is very kind and caring
does that help? should I add more?

If minecraft isn't that interesting to you, I don't see why you'd want to go to minecon all that much.
If you see your friends often, I would pick family personally, but if you don't get together with your friends, being with them is fun.
Ultimately, the decision is yours. I can help extract information and what way it seems to sway towards, but I can't make up your mind for you.

If you see your friends a lot and don't have many chances to be with your dad, I'd go with your dad, as long as he's going to be around you and not be busy with something else

depends. if you had a background of C, C#, C++ etc. it would be easier. i never really got into python so i can't tell you anything there but it's not really similar to lua.BobTheLawyer wrote:So how hard is it to learn Java with a background of Lua and a little of Python?
everything is pretty much a class (which i couldnt get used to) but by far the most annoying thing is remembering imports.
short answer, easier than learning to code from scratch. but hard nontheless.
