I love the new ideas they put in! At first, I thought the game was infrerior to others, but it's really taken capability of the HD and stuff.
I like how they brought bullies back as that big iron thing, and multiple Marios like in Mario 128, but above all, I like Bowser's motherducking pimp mobile. I hope they have antigravity though.

I hope they don't as that would make the game similar to mario galaxy.

So I've decided to attempt to make my first game, it will be a remake of Tiny Chao Garden from Sonic Advance, with more added once I get the original stuff added

It already is similar to Mario Galaxy. Take a look closer, you can see those bounce pad shock wave launcher things, the Goomba AI is the exact same as Mario Galaxy, there's the paths you have to illuminate in Galaxy 2, and there's probably a lot more on that list as well.

Backstory
Does anyone have a save of F-Zero X, completed, as an .sra file?
I've tried downloading from here, but it just gives me this message every time I try to click on "F-ZERO X":

Code: Select all

Illegal download attempt
http://www.pj64-emu.com/downloads/save- ... ive-saves/
By the way, my game is the "U" version, or US version.

I'm just doing this so I can play it on my Wii, and use the random track generator.

EDIT: Never mind, supposedly you have to make a account before you do anything.
EDIT 2: Now I have the problem where the emulator on the Wii (Wii64) doesn't want to load the save.
When I play F-Zero X (FZX) normally, it doesn't use the save, and overwrites it to create a new one; For some reason, it wont use the save I put in wii64/saves/. The PC version runs fine, and I don't even have to rename the save.
Anyone know why it is doing this?

I dunno why it doesnt work even tho both PJ64 and Wii64 use the same save file type, but someone made a converter that apparently works(i didnt tested personally) http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Wii64SaveSwap .
Follow the instructions, and be sure that the original sra file doesnt have spaces in it's name or the converter wont work.

How would you guys feel if there was a new group mappack being made, updated regularly, represented all members participating as designers and entities, and was managed reasonbly. Not that I would do something like this.

I tried that. Some people complained and I only had about 5 people make good levels.

It would end up being on hiatus because everyone wants to wait until SE

Not to mention people also hate when you restrict them to a specific tileset. God forbid you make them use any form of creativity, just make everything pretty and shitty level design doesn't matter!

So, this just looks epic.

I don't think anyone will be complaining about it being similar to 3D Land anymore.

Because Cat Mario is just as epic. Either that or Nintendo turned into a bunch of furries.

Probably the former.

I'm kind of concerned with that coin block form. Looks like an easy way to rack up a ton of lives.

this was in 3d land too. I doesn't let you get infinite coin, it goes away after a certain amount of coins.

I don't like the shared life pool feature.
I play with a bunch of people who aren't that great and often die within the first minutes.

It's fine in NSMBW, since it doesn't hurt me, and it is fun to play with them, but the shared lives can really stink.

Well, that is called change. Another change is the 3D gameplay, which allows breathing room for players. I'd sorta want PvP though. Think about it. Just cut out those cherry things, and there you go.

Does anyone know of a free program that can put music on an iPod?
I've looked at this list, and didn't see any I liked. Most looked like free trials, or just included other stuff I don't need.
All I want is a program that can put music on an iPod. If it helps, I own a iPod Shuffle.

Ok, I should've clarified.
It takes up 400MB, and I don't buy music. That is why I'm looking for something else.

If I could get the download to work, it'd be fantastic.
I downloaded it from download.com, and it required iTunes 10.0.

I'm gonna download iTunes anyways, now. I can't seem to find anything.

Yeah I've been having problems with my R button too (did you buy the thing when it first came out because I think it may be a problem with the older models.)

I played it, but it's just the smb levels but with different tiles and underwater. Maybe try a better gimmick next time.

I purchased my 3DS a while after it came out, but before the price drop. I'll check out the other solutions a bit. I'm not entirely fond of the idea of dropping $75+ just to fix one button that I had no part in breaking. If this is such a common issue, it really shouldn't come out of the user's pocket to get it fixed.

Anyone know where to get a good robot helmet?
I'm looking for a $30 helmet or so- preferably with no nose. Not to mention that it should be paintable. It would also be nice if it wasn't anything popular. (Ex. Iron Man.)
Halloween's coming up, as you may know.

I was a bit worried after seeing Fennie's second evolution, what with the ridiculous untrimmed ear-hair and the skirt. I was hoping those two aspects would magically disappear, rather than getting worse. But now it seems that Froakie is the most kickass of the bunch. Also, wtf Chespin

I really hate when things go wrong...
I turn on the computer when i noticed a little noise, i tell my mom about it, then from the tuesday i waited to the saturday in order to take the CPU to be repaired,
the repairman apparently formatted the CPU and now i don't have my map pack nor the winzip. I'm gonna explode.
So, i was going to put the new HD tileset and "move the things" in the editor, improve some of the dialogues (monologues in fact), but now only i will modify the actual tileset and release it at is. Now i have mnore reasons to hate my life (not in a bad way, in a funny but sad way).

EDIT:
To do it worse, i can't unzip my mappack file because i don't have WinZIP or 7zip and i can't download them, could someone send me the RAR version of it?

I like Delphox. I'm gonna be picking it this time.
Also, Chesnaught? What the fuck, it looks like the same face as Chespin only made more menacing.

And by the way, I am now the prime president of No.
