But doesn't that ruin the entire point of the game?

Nintendo. Fully it's the Nintendo gamecube, just the N is on the right side of gamecube in the initalism.

...Makes much more sense in japan, where it's Nintendō Gēmukyūbu.

I'm just gonna say give me Super Mario Sunshine and Luigi's Mansion for GCN.
(I sold my GameCube a few years ago)

Well, the Wii U has arrived. I'm enjoying it so far.
Feel free to add me: Nintendo Network ID: Jorichi.
I'll accept anyone I recognize (PM me if your name is different).

I'd like to see Gamecube games on virtual console, or just more known titles from older Nintendo consoles... There are just a handful of games... I just hope they'll add a lot more soon.

It's funny because the only game cube game I'd like to get (mainly for my brother) is getting remade. zelda: wind waker

What's even more funny to me is that they chose the Zelda that would benefit the least from an HD remake.

They should put DS games on virtual console.
Think about it. Top screen = TV, bottom screen = Gamepad. It makes sense.

Damn Nintendo is getting lazy. Either that or Shigeru Miyamoto is looking like a raisin after getting all his creativity sucked out of him.

Getting there...

I haven't heard much from the new Zelda though, except for its possible title. Anyone got news on the plot (besides "Save the princess 'n shit") or the new gimmick? Because I'd hate the fact that this series might put on its 52nd dress. I haven't finished Skyward Sword because of that.

Also, anyone playing Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate? It came with the deal I bought, looks like fun so far.

I haven't played it yet, but I'll be sure to in time. By the way, I added you on Miiverse.

My brother wants it (I notice I'm bringing him up a lot recently) for his birthday which is in a couple of weeks so I should be playing that game soonish.

Let me post the most truthful thing I can about the Wii U:
I have one.

That's it. Anything else I say would get someone mad (though I'm sure camewel is mad anyways since I told a joke)

the wii-u looks really nice and Super smash bros 4 also looks beast and Nintendo Land is also good

and i love how the people here like Nintendo
Is the Wii-U Community stable or are there just annoying people?

I think so, but then again, I've only played 3 or 4 games with miiverse.

I honestly hate it when developers decide not to visit the Wii U, or gaming magazines only feature 1 game for the Wii U per issue.
There are just some jerk companies that refuse Nintendo.

Right now, I'm just hyped for Mario Kart 8.

Imagine it's Bowser's Castle or Rainbow Road...

They aren't refusing Nintendo.
They just know that the Wii U isn't selling well and other stuff.
I'm really not surprised in the slightest.

To be honest, the other companies are doing the right thing for themselves.

So I guess the Wii U is only going to have the few games they've already announced, plus some others, and they're all going to be coming from them, unless they do something about it.

of the 10 best games on the wii, about 9 were made by nintendo themselves so I don't really care what 3rd party developers do
if I wanted to play graphically impressive games, I have a PC for that, I only got a Wii U because nintendo keep their games to themselves

This is the exactly the same thing that people were saying about the 3ds in it's first year.

Also I really don't like game theory.
"Let's discuss weather princess peach's boobs are real!"
and those comparisons he made in that video are awful. (seriously who the fuck is spending money on the batteries for the wii u tablet if it comes with a charger?)

Well, not really, the U has been around for about 1 year and 4 or 5 months (it was released in Nov. 2012, right...?)

Let's just hope that this is turned around like the 3DS.
Of which I can't leave home without.

I think that Game Theory is a good idea/show, but some parts (like opinions or actual commentary) may not be for everyone.
He does have valid points sometimes, though.

Most of his points are pretty weak then he EMPHasises random parts of the sentence to make you think he knows what he's talking about.

I haven't played DK64 yet, but I think I've seen it's physical cartridge before.
I hope that Nintendo ups their Virtual Console game sometime soon. Like make it a focus, advertise it and stuff and work on releaseing everything for a month.
That may not be the best plan, but they need to release their Virtual Console faster. Announcing Gameboy Advance and DS games for the lineup is cool and all, but the GameCube needs to be brought back.

Oh please, like that would happen
They already went through legal hell to put up earthbound
Why would they do it again with Rare?
But I do agree that it would be cool for them to do a month of just game ports
and they should definitely port gamecube and ds

Dispite having DK64 and a working Nintendo 64, I would still probably buy it if they released it on the Wii U virtual console.
Mainly because the saving and loading would possibly allow me to finally win at beaver bother. (Don't judge, that game was hard.)
