I really wish we could thumbs-down and/or remove likes on this forum. :>

I agree with the removing likes (I have accidentally liked a post before),
but I think thumbs-down would cause more harm than good.

You CAN actually remove likes, but you have to click the number of thumbs up and find your nickname (and then click the trash bin icon). The problem with it though is that your nick doesn't show up at the top, so for a post with many likes, you have to look harder for it.
That's basically the only problem I have with it, although I'd really like if you could remove a like by clicking the like button again...

As great as it looks, it seems as if you just went to a really low resolution and began drawing regularly. Doesn't seem like pixel art to me, but what do I know? .-.

Pixel art in my definition is when you edit or manage individual pixels. So yeah if you thlechnically want to consider it just a drawing with aliasing you can but its really up to the artist most of the time to decide what it is

He has the checkerboard thing though, does that count as "edit or manage individual pixels"?

It's not the art thread if you're confused, so it's pixel art/sprites or gtfo.

I ripped part of a background in Mario & Wario from this image and added 9 pixels to the bottom for a finished sprite:

Looks pretty good to me.

You're resized sprites looks like they were put through a filter while part of it wasn't, it makes it look ugly imo.

Holy yes this is freaking amazing to me. All I have so far for these two Desktop Ponies are the magic arts (except I want to go back and fix Ty's foreleg), some lines, a thing where Tesla follows Typer around because she hates it when she's ignored, and a behavior where they just say "Good morning" to each other.
Also do you know how f-ing frustrating it is to be forced to use a Photoshop file on another program (because monies) and find that there are no frames, so you have to go and hand-move each peice for every single frame? Because its pretty f-ing frustrating.

To me, it just looks like a lower-fidelity version of your normal art. You should try doing it at at most 32 pixels², which I think would cause a serious change in style.

Not sure, but i think it will work, i had making back to pixel art with paint, but i think that i need to find another style for the pixel style.
