This thread is about kart racing games such as mario kart.

I'll get it started: Who remembers LEGO Racers?
Discuss.

Double Dash was so fun when I was younger, but then someone decided it was a great idea to write my name in the part where the disc reads with permanent marker. I cleaned it, but it wouldn't even show in the GC. When I tried on the Wii, it showed there was a GC disc, but when I load it, it just resets the Wii.
Although, I remember one time it actually loaded, but it kept saying "the disc can't be read" in MK:DD letter style.

I loved playing co-op with my brother in the grand prix.
EDIT: to get through the last mode he'd get an item and aim it at the on coming racers (or just block them to slow them down) so I could win the races.

I miss those days when me and Sakura played games like Mario Party 3, SSB, or MK:DD.
They were fun while they lasted. Also, Mario Sunshine almost made my whole childhood, even if I couldn't finish it completely.
EDIT: Also, I still have it, but it's broken now.

Mario Kart Super Circuit(the one on the GameBoy Advance, is the 3rd game in the Mario Kart serie)
xXxrenhoekxXx wrote:EDIT: ^ was my favorite mario kart game eva.

I played(and still play with an Emu every now and then) the first CTR, fun even tho i never really liked how the kart's physisc works, when steering it always looked like they were "sliding" to me.
I remember playing Chocobo Racing, frustrating cuz it was a bit too hard, still nice when mastered, but too hard to master(loop logic).
And i still have Diddy Kong Racing for the N64, never liked it much, even tho it was considered one of the better racing games on the N64, yet being too similar to Mario Kart 64.

Okay, let's run down your roster:
Some doll thing, Derpy Hooves, Baby Peach, a banana, Calvin, Toadette,
Pinkie Pie, a tree, a turtle, the copyright symbol, Cereal, Nothing,
Pac-man, Luigi, Rainbow Dash, Trololo face, an owl?, Portal cake,
Spongebob, Hatsune Miku, Pong, Forever alone face, Discord, Herobrine,
The root of all evil (Justin Beiber), Mickey Mouse, Kirby, Error 404, Firefox, Slenderman sign,
Stabyourself dude, Mario, Apple, Windows, Linux, and something I can tell what.

I'm just gonna quote one thing I'm sure you're familiar with, Turret.

I don't remember me ever trying to be funny with that quote. But I'll make you a deal. You stop making so many stupid goddamn posts and I'll stop using this quote. Until then you can go ahead and read the quote again because that's what I think you are. Now either shut your lip or stay on topic and post about kart racers.

Alright. deal. (I already started on the ^<v game.)
Also, It would be cool to have an everyone kart. Kind of like the everyone vs everyone using M.U.G.E.N or whatever.
So basically, turret opera's roster, but with the stupid removed, the awesome stuff added, and.... yeah.

So you basically want a custom Mario Kart-is game with tons of characters like M.U.G.E.N. has with it's tons of fighters.
That sounds.... actually pretty interesting. Mugen's impressed me with many custom fighters via the youtube I've seen of it.
If a kart racer was done in that kind of style, where most everything was community-made, we'd have ourselves some interesting racers and tracks.
Though I completely disagree with using any of Turret's roster.

(for the record, I never actually PLAYED everyone vs everyone. I never found a good download D:)

Mario Kart Wii
I forget that it's not a common acronym across the internet although what with there being a couple of videos in this thread related to that game and this thread being called 'kart racers' I'm sure you'd have figured it out.

It was actually surprisingly easy. Nintendo never added a cap onto the number that could be sent to the server as a vote, so you have to do is add some more IDs and buttons to vote these IDs.
