I'm only 17, I'm in the Sixth Form (which is College), so I don't have an arts degree, only an Art GCSE.
I don't use any programs for art, besides doing sprite work. For that I use Paint.net, and MS Paint when it's necessary.

@cavejohnson A combination of that, you're not interesting, and you haven't made anything significant. So you're just like me.

Sorry I didn`t respond faster,I didn`t expect to be occupied at the time I joined the discussion.

My icon is my character`s monitor reflecting light, It is probably crappy as i made it in 2 minutes, I plan to scrap this icon and make a better one later on when i have time.

@Bonko: Could you explain your interests with aliens? (I'm just basing this off your avatar and your character in Twatter Story)
@ Kyle: Is there any specific reason for that avatar? You never (I don't think) changed it and you've been here for a long time. (I too like potatoes.)

@RWLabs. there was no specific reason, I just decided I needed an avatar. But had no idea what to make.. I had originally started out with this but I animated it a few days later (because, as you may know, animated avatars are all the rage in Maine!) Up until that point, I had never made an avatar or animated anything.. The word "potatoes' was added at the last minute.. The character looked happy, but I needed something for him to be happy about. I chose something random..

It's "That's the best strategy in the game, gotta go up stairs and pause balls"

@RWlabs: I like aliens because I feel that they can be exploring the galaxy, maybe with a vast empire or something, and I'm stuck here with all these humans that have so many problems. I'm not counting myself completely out, but if an alien spacecraft lands in my lawn, I will do everything I can to go with them.

SMB3, Modernizing Super Mario RPG to put with Turtle's Mod., and I guess K00pa. I have a lot of outside work, so I won't be working on them for awhile...

It can work in baby steps, first, we start with second world powers, then third, then fourth, then fifth. First is medium challenge to make.

I'm mostly working on my own game (not showing it here) but I would be interested to get back in a community project again such as NSMari0B DS. I'm not going to be doing super mario bros 3, as I've never played it.

@Jorichi, Ever heard of shapeways? Cause if you got some extra money you can 3-D print (In fullcolor sandstone) your 3-D pony models, I would buy some.

@Thunderflipper; I have actually been thinking about this yesterday. I thought it would be expensive, but it doesn't appear to be near the price I thought it would be.
I took a look at the Shapeways site and I can say the following:
I might do it as a background project. I was thinking of making a figurine of Sundae Scoops from one of my earlier drawings. If you, or anyone else, has any suggestions feel free to tell me. I'm also not quite sure whether or not to go with the sandstone one. It's quite brittle and looks kind of 'fuzzy', but it's the only one that allows color...
The site has a lot of requirements one the models too, so I need to read up on them.
But if this works out I might do personal 3D requests for you forum-guys.

It's a great motivation for me to go back to 3D modeling as I can't do proper animations with this PC.

@jorichi, what are the costs on that Shapeways site? I'd check myself but apparently i can see just a small part of the gallery while the rest of the site takes infinite time to load, so i could see just the prices for buying stuff and not the ones for producing stuff.

@TheSeek: The prices are based on cm3 and a base price. The prices on that vary on materials.
The materials they have are:
Alumide: $1.99/cm3 (+$1.50 base).
Strong & Flexible Plastic: $1.40/cm3 (+$1.50 base).
Fine Detail Plastic: $2.99/cm3 (+$2.50 base).
Frosted Detail Plastic: $2.39/cm3 (+$5.00 base).
Stainless Steel: $8.00/cm3 (+$6.00 base).
Sterling Silver: $20.00/cm3 (+$30.00 base).
Full Color Sandstone: $0.75/cm3 ($3.00 base).
Ceramics: $0.18/cm2 (no base price listed...)
Glass: $6.00/cm3 (+$9.00 base).

Full color sandstone is the only thing that allows various colors in the print, but is very fragile and thus will not work with every pose. The others don't allow colors though.
Many of the materials say: "if I made this out of wet sand or brittle clay, could I lift the design without it breaking?" as these materials go through a stage in which it is very fragile. So depending on the pose of the model I have to decide on material or base the pose of my model on the material I wish to use. I think a regular standing pony could work, but I don't want to risk that on the first try.
Each product has several design tips to help you avoid screwing up your model for the printed version and help with links to converting your models, if not supported by your 3D modeling program.

@Jorichi, The sandstone I actually find quite pleasent, It has a nice texture, Its not all that bubbly, The sandstone is worth it. You could test out the ponies by making really small versions first, I personally would buy those so I could admire them.

Yeah I will definitely try it to at least see if it would work out with ponies. I heard quite some good stuff about it.
The modeling though, will take quite some time (I'm not that fast yet).

How did I improve? What way have I started acting to make you act the way you do?
RWLabs wrote:@TO

Uh IDK but I guess it could come down to:
1. Adjustment.
2. Trying to copy other people's writing styles.
3. Being annoyed with jony.
4. Maybe I'm maturing or something.
5. Insert fifth reason.
