Oh man you showed me
That was a great burn
I definitely put a ton of thought and effort into that joke which was totally a sense of humor I expected most people on this forum to identify with

The fact that you put no effort into making the joke and it having even a slight effect is a good thing. Not an insult. No one understands anything I say or do. I may as well leave the forums because of how pissy everyone gets over something good. Giving zero fucks about anything else :D

You're a really cool forum member bro

Wait were you serious or was that just another continuation of this joke that we've basically run to the ground
Or what about
Plot twist: I was successful in making people laugh but somehow failed making a pun

I was saying you were successful at making 1/2 people laugh.

And I was in a ragey mood (stupid people in the world), I'll just strikethrough all the indirect anger that came to the forum.

That's a pretty rad snake! It's kinda halfway between detailed and not.

Thanks for the feedback guys! :D
Trist3D wrote:>Tfw I have to draw a temporary skeleton and proportion markings to draw like that.
Lol, I can't draw skeletons/proportion markings because of my lack of an ability to not "sketch" one the same intensity as the lines I draw. I also just suck at making them period, because I end up not following them...

I also noticed that I made a rhyme in my post. I guess I'm a poet and I don't even know it.

I just draw over the markings and get a neat 'sketchy' look. I drew an awesome Pikachu earlier, but it disappeared.
And the more I look at that picture, the more I see a snake's equivalent of bedroom eyes.

So I made a Gladiator Fallen Angel Good Guy Police Alien that's supposed to go with the Alien Pirates I posted here at some point. It's supposed to be the protector race of the galaxy and stuff. I made it at school and bad quality because phone and no scanner.

Something you gotta think about when drawing is "Gee, what monstrosity will this become if I remove these extra things?"
Picturing the chick without hair or the hat leaves a terrifying facial shape that will haunt my nightmares for years to come.
Also, her head is as thick as her torso.
Ignoring that, it's a neat drawing.

I meant the lumpy head, broseph. That one detail specifically. Look at how the cheek curves, but then examine the rest of the head. The hat rests on the crown (or whatever it's called) of the head, but the cheek has too steep of an curve for it to be a continuous shape. Therefore it sticks out and leaves a lumpy look. It's an art style thing though so meh.
And quit using emoticons, man.

But... but... why? I love emotes!!! I literally use them instead of spamming punctuation...
Also, the style is anime, and in anime, the head shape from a cross between front and side has a bit of a cheek like that, but ends up varying in location depending on an artist's style. Also, yes the head is a bit misshapen, but with some care, it could be made to just look like the fabric is stiff and therefore sticks up above the forehead line.

You know... I like that you have a good sense of characterism (or whatever you would call it), but can you really be using it when your character is a circle head with oval eyes?

Emotes are slightly annoying, you know.
Punctuation is also very important, as a grammar Nazi may show up at any moment.

Just trust me on this one.

Psssh. It's how I type and always will type. It's nearly impossible for me to try and convey feeling without them. I would care less about grammar Nazis. I'll just tell them to stop being such a micromanaging OCD freak who cares about how I form a sentence by typing letters and punctuation.

I also use emoticons almost always. In most cases, I don't know if I'm sounding snob or rude, so they break this feeling... When I'm not using emoticons I almost always use (...), cause I'm not very good at definitive endings for sentences (not that I know, though).

I keep his ridiculously simplified design as a nod to MS Paint. (including the color pallet, in case I get stuck with Paint alone.) I originally created him there, and I can't seem to redesign him at all. I do, however, follow most human anatomy.

You both have the anatomy down really, just teh head shape. Ofc paint sucks at making really anything detailed. Redesign suggestion would just be to use a different, less simplistic program and just add shading. Not like it would make any significant difference, but it's still technically a "redesign."

I used one of the many drawing apps I have on my iPad.
It does take a bit more time to do a drawing because of the coloring and whatnot, but after that it's pretty much the same.

Yet I still haven't even started on the community group picture thing.
I mean I don't even know if I'll ever finish it. Probably not.

Glad to see this hasn't fallen into obscurity. Then again, when you have constantly epic people it's difficult to simply forget a thread that contains their epic work, no?

Here's some sounds for you all to listen to, since there seems to be quite the lack of such art :P

I like it, just try to use notes that don't conflict. Also, make sure to control the volumes of the instruments; I wanted to hear more snare in both. In PheonixZ, maybe you should have stopped the instrument-that-started-first-i-dont-know-the-name-of-it when the synth started, it made it a little too thick. Loved the ending to PheonixZ though. Try to keep the piano in the same octave though.

Just some advice.

Take a look at Rig's (serious) work; his EotL Version of 7 Nation Army is a good example of controlling the volume and texture. Then, there is Super Gaben World, which is good but...

So THAT'S what you've been doing instead of more drawings, like you usually do.
I don't think you're finished yet, it needs to be HugoBDesigner's Splendid Array of Cross-Stitching.

I hate to do 'creepy' stuff, but I guess part of my art style just fits into that...

Anyways, There's a lack of art recently for some reason. Well, I mean like the stuff we had everyday.
Mainly Hugo's stuff.

There's that, and then there's the fact that feedback is always appreciated.
Especially since the following drawing has to do with IOSMB4:
Image
Uh
New character stuffs
Supposed to be a queen of the underworld or something
Something something plot-related

Suggestions....?
(Ex does it have to be a queen? Backstory of a rise to power...?)
(I'm avoiding using the one from Paper Mario since she fills a different role)

(Don't think this is what we do in IOSMB4, this is just one of the strangest ideas that we had to get feedback on. There's a lot more planned, I promise.)

She could be a princess you save in the underworld, like in Rayman Origins.
Or she could be a princess cursed by her desire for eternal life. She got what she wanted and now she is a skeleton queen cursed for eternity.
