There wouldn't be a point to making another Portal crossover game. We already have Mari0. What else do you need? As for Pacman, I think it's already done, minus the gun.

I know it is already out there but that is a "idea" name...As for kirby it would just be cool.

mari0 kart would kinda suck, let's admit it. Other crossovers would be cool too, like assassin's portal creed which would allow for some awesome teleportation/assassination.

like the assasins creed idea
also I should have been more clear when I said mari0 kart I meant as something stupid kinda fun not serious fun.
and why can they never get the balance issues right?

off-topic
on assasins creed
once my brother was being chased by gaurds, he runs towards a seat sits down and the gaurd goes right infront of him and says "he got away" I laughed so hard.

it's also fun to do a great big faith leap in the middle of a square and end up hiding in a hay stack, with guards going "where'd he go ?, darn that assassin is discreete"

Personally I think they should expand on the Mario and portal crossover if they have any ideas left. (I'd like to see Super Mario World happen)
Otherwise I would like to see them make an awesome game from scratch. With this kind of talent
you can make some awesome, kick-ass games.
But I'd like to hear Maurice's plans on this...

it's just that 3 has more of a variety.

I've had what I think is a pretty interesting idea for a game for a while. It's a game where everything is as realistic as possible: your character has average jumping ability and speed, enemies are simple, ect. But you also have the ability to switch back and forth between the game being realistic and unrealistic (better running and jumping, but the enemies become unrealistically tough), to help you solve puzzles. Some things you would only be able to do in the "unrealistic" mode, and others would only be able to happen in the "realistic" mode. Any thoughts?

That's a pretty amazing idea I've seen things in games like that where you hit a switch and the level changes but I never thought of something that game changing.

Thanks. I was thinking of an idea of a game where everything is completely realistic, because most platformer games let you jump very high among other unrealistic things, which is pretty much the point. I decided that something like that wouldn't be fun at all, but if classic platforming was implemented to contrast with the realism, it might be a pretty interesting game.

cool idea ! so you'd have a character jumping around, kicking ass and the boom, puzzle time, let's take our breath, walk around, try to understand stuff ? I like it. though the game would need another strong concept twist (linked to that idea) for it to work as a game. Like why you'd want to change realism, etc.

I'm guessing it has somethig to do with the enemies... like enemies don't hurt you in realistic mode but are blocking a path for example.

Something like that, yeah. I'd say for the concept, your character is trapped within a large area, such as a temple or a large building. The first few levels would be simple and would introduce you to the main stuff, like level completion objectives, controls, ect. Then you would get some sort of artifact or device that allows you to change the realism back and forth. Some levels you would need to switch back and forth multiple times. For example, there would be a high platform that you could only get to with the realism off, but then a powerful enemy blocks your path and you must turn the realism on again. Something like that. I like some of your suggestions, trosh, especially the idea of the contrast of exciting platforming action with cooled-down puzzle-solving. By the way, if anyone is experienced enough that they'd want to work on something like this (including Maurice), I'd be willing to collaborate.

I expect there'd have to be an über-cool transition from real to unreal, like 2d to 3d in some of the later stranger marios, or 2d to 3d in orthorobot - you get my meaning, a cool transition that would be often repeated, so not unpleasant to the eye, and really reflects what the transition implies.

Yeah, I thought of that. It would be quick so that you could go back and forth rather easily, but it would also be exciting. I'd say as well as the enemies and some of the scenery changing, the colors would also become more vibrant.

Cartoon Mario style unrealistic world to detailed gritty urban world would would pretty cool. I'd have it swap like

To be honest, balencing is how you'd make this better than that game...

Jony, you've been on a dead-thread reviving spree. Here's an advice: look at the date of the last post before you even think about posting anything.

Saso hates meme replies. I'll bet he's pleased with what you've been doing with all the triple posts and random bullshit and all.

Oh and,
