Ah, thank you. I saw that link some times ago, and though it could be interesting.
I will admit I haven't really read much of the articles.

Well, he's sticking to his principles, which, considering how hard it can be, is pretty commendable.

I don't think he uses a laptop for what many people here use them for, like photo editing, music making, and gaming. The majority of his time is spent programming or working on his website, and even then he barely uses a browser (he uses wget to fetch his email, I think.) With my old window manager, I was getting maxes of 500-700 mb of RAM use when browsing the internet and watching videos. Lot's of people like those old thinkpad t60s for their build quality and they only have 2gb at max on default models.

Guys, did you know that games or films that take years to finish end up in development hell? Sometimes, it might cancel or come back in another year.

You have two options. Either swear normally (but not overdoing it), or don't swear at all. I don't know how to explain why censoring is stupid, so I won't.

Sonic 1 remake came out for iOS and Android today, it's awesome. Widescreen, HD, Tails, and Knuckles. It think it's awesome that these remakes are made by someone who originally made an engine based on the old Sonic games and was hired by SEGA to do it officially

Yeah.
I can't get him to guess Trosh, but he's on the list for when you lose.
EDIT: Got it!

It was his third try.
P.S. He gets it when you say that Trosh has appeared in a movie.
Whoever put him in isn't very good at descriptions.

I tried too, but it didn't even show it to me on the list when you lose. Also, if you didn't know, if you click "no this is not the right person" and when it asks you "Continue?" click "Yes" for more questions. Not-so-popular characters are guessed after 2 or more sets of questions. For some reason, it took 3 sets of question to guess Adele, the singer (yes I know she's popular but whatever).

but Sonic 1 didn't have Tails... Maybe it had Knuckles?

Off Topic: My God best drop of the year: http://youtu.be/yG-O7tg5BxY?t=50m WAIT FOR IT!

I don't know why, but I love it.

On Topic: Pretty sure Doctor Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik was the main villain, never played Sonic though, so I may be wrong. BUUT, I've watched the cartoon when I was little.

It just feels weird adding characters that weren't in the game. Like a GTA Vice City remake with CJ. I mean... yeah they EXIST in that world... but not at that point.

Dr.Robotnik/Eggman was the villian forever and always will be, in Sonic 2, Tails was introduced, and in Sonic 3, Knuckles was bad and working for Robotnik until the end if I remember correctly.

you guys missed the joke entirely,

when they were trying to come up with sonic one of the concepts was dr robotnick in pajamas and was originally going to be the main character.

It's true. It was a competition. Fan's made a main character, they thought it looked cool but didn't use it. They made him the villian instead. Also yes Camewel, covered in DYKG. But also meh.
I guess it's just an opinion when it comes to continuity. I guess it doesn't effect plot since apart from 'This guy made cute animals into robots: kill him' there isn't one...

If I ever saw Robotnik as a character in something like MariO, I think he would either be Bowser just throwing out entities that are robots, or him being the playable character when he is in his flying trolling vehicle.

research
http://info.sonicretro.org/Dr._Eggman
While it was Naoto Ohshima's design of Sonic the Hedgehog that won the internal competition for corporate mascot, it was only one of many designs he had come up with for Sega. One of the other designs that had been considered in the final deliberations, but was ultimately passed up on, was a roundish, mustached man in pajamas. Bearing a striking resemblance to the 26th President of the United States Theodore Roosevelt, Ohshima and the rest of the development team didn't want to discard the design, feeling there was still potential even if the character wasn't to be the star.
http://sonic.wikia.com/wiki/Doctor_Eggman
In the month April 1990, Sega petitioned its research and development department, AM8, to create a character who would replace Alex Kidd as the company's mascot, as well as compete against Nintendo's flagship character, Mario. A caricature of Theodore Roosevelt in pajamas was among the proposed designs. Combined with the idea of an egg-shaped character, it eventually became the basis of the visual design for Dr. Eggman
