Remember all of those awesome people who posted a lot when the game was first released, but hardly come on anymore, like Kyle Prior and Trosh?

Kyle and Trosh are both often found in IRC. I wonder what happened to Raicuparta (did I get that right?) though.
Things have certainly changed since the first day I joined the forums. In some aspects for the best, in some for the worst.
I don't really know if I changed much since I joined though, but you can judge that for yourselves.

Regardless, I like most of the people I got to know so far. You have to read over the stupidity now and then, but there is discussable content to be found quite often.
And I don't think a 'VIP section' is necessary to filter people out.
However, I feel the people I liked most on these forums are starting to post less and less. Sad times, sad times...

I'm starting to see a pattern here, or is it just me?

True, kyle and trosh are found on the IRC. But more trosh than kyle(or is it just my bad luck?) I've also seen quite a few old people on the IRC.
I miss trosh, Kyle and Cyto.

You and Jorichi are the two people who are most consistently intelligent and honest. You're also the two most into art. I won't make any comment on the correlation.

On the flipside, Maurice (and to a lesser extent, myself) are the two people who are most consistently intelligent and sarcastic dicks. We're also the two most into programming. Again, no comments on the correlation.

(and if anyone gets offended by omission, you're silly)

Teach me your ways of the code, master
It probably doesn't. Me trying to make a game isn't gonna make me an overnight sarcastic asshole either, unfortunately. You're probably good.

I wish you luck, idiot. If you're making it then the art for your game is going to be great. Code isn't too hard to write, it just takes a bit of getting used to :).

Funny enough, I've had tons of the character's sprites done since the last time I tired and failed to learn coding. (since last June I believe) I was trying to do a hand-in-hand thing, where one day I'd do sprites, next learn the damn coding stuff, and repeat. Coding stopped but sprite making kept happening. I've got most of the first main character done and many enemies too. Here is the main character's sprites for proof:
Image
I've been doing a good job so far this time around, but I'm stuck with the sprite animations, as both tutorials I've followed so far have shown different ways to do it, and I don't know which is a better way. I'll figure something out though.
I have way too much time on my hands I need to do more spriting someone give me a request

simple and awesome, love it.

1=sporty, 2=punk, 3=goth/dark, 4=badass, 5=normal, 6=you choose
Even=guy, Odd=girl
Weapon: Even=yes Odd=no

Rolling the dices......3....another 3.....and a 6....so, do a goth girl with a weapon(goth based weapon of course).
up to you if doing animation sheets or just general sprites.

That sounds like it would be an awesome idea for the spriting contest we did.
I'll take your challenge, and if I do a good enough job on it, I'm stealing using it as a contest.

I like how you said you didn't want to use Kirby any more then proceeded to make something that looks like a rectangular recoloured Kirby with a thing sticking out of its head.

Portal = Property Of Valve
Mario = Property Of Nintendo
Coding Language = Property Of Love
Game = Property Of Stabyourself.net
Minecraft = Property Of Mojang

Minecraft is used in minecraft mode, so it only makes sense to cradit them
also I think I need to find the logo of the people who made VVVVV and the hub

That makes it all the better. Your definition of "funny" is equal to 99% stupidity for most of the forum members.

PS: Your signature wasn't funny. You just took a good TF2 quote and made it stupid. Congratulations, you went down another 45% in intelligence.

Sorry it's pretty late, but definitely not. The characters would be less believable, and more of a group of odd characters. Be as they are animated animals, who is to say what is abnormal for them to do? If they were humans, the show would not be popular.

Yeah, images of children playing in swimming pools are illegal in most countries.
