I'm confused. I get a feeling of sarcasm.
There are two options:
You are being truthful and there is therefore no need for (!)
You hate the thread, you take no care about it and therefore see no need for it. (meaning (!))

Also @Lexsym...? Why?!

Really!?
Does this have any use...?
No!!!
This will really work(!)
The last 3 are standard. All you want is some stupid way to show sarcasm that no-one will ever use. Everyone just needs to accept that they are going to have to learn how to detect sarcasm and do it. That, or deal with it.

They're all standard. ever seen anything with subtitles? (!) is the way to show sarcasm.

And the sarcasm font would be just as good.

By standard, I meant they're all in common internet use already.

And what is the common internet symbol for sarcasm? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I do believe there isn't one.
Which is why I want (!) to become popular.

I never saw that before... (!)
BTW, there is this thing called a sarc mark.

Distractions
Just make sure you type random text and then be sure to underline it with smaller text that actually get's your point across. Serious internet.

On the internet, the most common way that you display that you are using sarcasm is by using sarcasm in a rather obvious fashion. Other method include adding more sarcasm, or saying 'Just so you don't be an idiot and misinterpret this, it's sarcasm.'

That's all well and good but would it work in this forum?
And also, when talking about (!) maybe don't put it at the end of your sentence? I am getting really confused

'Just so you don't be an idiot and misinterpret this, it's sarcasm.' < (!)

Well no, because you want (!) to be a mandatory thing after every sarcastic phrase, whereas the 'Just so you don't be an idiot and misinterpret this, it's sarcasm.' is only required when you think people will misinterpret it badly.

I don't want (!) to be mandatory, I want it, like you do, to be put whenever anyone may misinterpret it.
For instance, I'm going to kill you. is fine. I am not really going to kill you, obviously, so there is clearly no need to put anykind of (!)

I don't know...

But sarcasm is no good when it's really obvious.

Sometimes when I watch TV with subtitles then they use "(!)" for sarcasm.

I like to use subtitles for TV, cause you can see that the subtitles are completely different from what the people are actually saying.
