+ link to chatroom.
that's not necessary bob as that can already be found but a link back to stab yourself isn't.

I have to find a non terrible position for the link that makes sense. As for IRC, I'd rather keep the link hidden until a stream is up - which is how it currently is. Regulars know where to find it.

Good point.
It gets very annoying when we have people like 'toolazytopickausername' and others like that come in...

EDIT: Why don't you put the link back in the title? "Stabyourself.net forum"
Make the underlined the link.

That's actually a good idea, but I'll need to hack about in the templates a bit.

There should also be a thread for discussion of the games under: other games

i suggest that's when a new user who hasnt' at least 30 posts , when he creates a topic in the mapping section, the thread by MrCytosine appears and says that's he should read it first... it get's annonying when everyone posts mappacks without screenshots '_'

Sounds a little too specific. lets make it a little more general, like, you can only view/create topics in an area after you read all the rule/important threads.

But then they would have to sticky those threads.
Also when somebody makes a topic in twatter for the first time and clicks sumbit it sould say "TWATTER IS NOT A 'POST RANDOM BULLSH*T JUST FOR THE SAKE OF IT' SECTION" and prompt them to check over their topic.

make the forum dispense cookies that taste like bananas.
Could you add a SE Resources section, for characters and such? They're scattered between mapping, no subforum, and occasionally modding.
regulars know how to find the chat room
I'm not a regular?

Use the logo as the link to the main site, and the
Stabyourself.net forum

We make games and get in discussions
to link to the main page of the forums.

Making the logo of a site link to not the main page of that "sub-site" is the dumbest possible design choice.

Reddit does that and it's stupid, especially since their subreddits usually have personalized logos. I get that you're supposed to use tags and reddit is a different kind of site, but still.
