Forum avatars, seriously?

It's really pissing me off how the forum avatar have to be below 100px (w/h) or it won't be accepted. Can't it be made where it just resizes it where ever it's shown. Most of the photos I use would have to be resized for this forum.

I thought there was a "No Annoying Stuff" policy. This is, indeed, annoying!

Stop being lazy and resize it yourself.

Coming from the person that doesn't have an avatar.

You know, I've had a lot of poor comebacks thrown at me, but wow that is poor.
Turns out I actually don't have an avatar because I found this really cool picture to use as an avatar but it's 101x101 so I can't use it shame huh.

Yes, but that would be much less sarcastic.

I'm not going to waste 2 days to make a reliable avatar resize that would be used only once every 17 years.

It's not like you have to upload a new one every day. And if you do, chances are you're editing them yourself, in which case you'll be able to resize them anyway.

why is it I keep seeing people asking others to do all the work for them?

EDIT: also I would have understood if it was about how it only allows for files under 16 KB but image size? seriously?

That's ridiculous.

My problem isn't with resizing. It's the fact that it's almost impossible for my avatar to fit in the 16 kb file size. I had to shrink it down way too far. Please maurice, increase it to 26 kb!

There are even some forums, that it has to be more than 200 kb, and you can even resize it, and crop it in one same place. Ex: Ponyville

But that doesn't mean I like it more than Stabyourself! They are quite nice, but WAY too BORING! Here... well not so nice at times, but it is never boring in this place.

well looks like the tables turned.

(or my computers had an error since I see where his avatar should be as "user avatar")

This thread is stupid. Really? You can't just open up paint, hit resize, and then save?

This post is stupid. Really? You can't just check the date, not post and then leave the thread?
