How to hack your highscores (Windows users only)

  • Open Windows Explorer (done by just opening a folder).
  • At the top, type in (without the quotes) "C:\Users\Owner\Appdata".
  • Double-click "Roaming".
  • Double-click "LOVE".
  • If you have played Not Pacman at least once, there will be a folder called "not_pacman". Double-click it if there is.
  • Double-click "highscoreA".
  • You will likely get an error message saying that Windows does not recognize the file. Choose to open it with Notepad.
  • When you do, there should appear something that looks like this:

    Code: Select all

    keyboard#2#203:87.4:name--;0:0:------;0:0:------;0:0:------;0:0:------;0:0:------;0:0:------;0:0:------;0:0:------
  • Each section after the keyboard control method will follow this syntax:
  • (pellets):(time):(name)
    You can edit this to say whatever you want. For example:
    244:0.1:hacker
    This is 244 pellets in 0.1 seconds by HACKER.
  • Show people how much you rock at Not Pacman!

It's not windows only, macs can access this too by going to their not_pacman files in User/library/Application Support/LOVE. Linux can do it too by going to $XDG_DATA_HOME/love/ or ~/.local/share/love/ (copied off of Love wiki).

What do you mean? I was just tampering with the save data, and seeing what I got!
