Qcode game identity was changed so that's not the case.

1.0.2 which fixes text input error and makes sure the tilt reset happens (even though it already did?) should be up in a minute.

it took the old game identity for me as well. It loads from both or something.

Trying to go to options does this.

EDIT: Also happens when trying to play the game.

Pressing any button on an Xbox 360 controller at the title screen produces this:

Image

It also captures the mouse, even when in a different window. Had to use keyboard shortcuts in Task Manager to close it.

[*]Edit: I'll go try it with Löve version 0.7.2
[*]Edit 2: Confirmed broken with v0.7.2

Thanks for that. Will be fixed in a few minutes in 1.0.4
Also use escape to close the game.

Would it be hard to convert it to 0.8.0? It's kind of irritating having to use the non-source version.

and I haven't been here awhile. hi

Mysterious. Just your bad luck that this problem hasn't been addressed yet, right?

I just made in 30 mins a port of Not Pacman(1.0.4) to love2d 0.8.0(Because normally it only work in 0.7.2)
I didn't uploaded a .love yet, but I have a patch:
Here is the link to the diff.
This patch make use of fixtures, infinite world size,love.event.quit(), and disables :wakeUp() and :setFriction()
Edit:here is the love: https://www.dropbox.com/s/slrmy9651n0ki ... an080.love
Everyone can use it as they want: It has the same license (WTFPL)

this is not a bug but when you eat a ghost when it's blue it's supposed to respawn as normal/

by Maurice
On purpose because the ghosts don't respawn in the box and you could get spawnkilled.

Linux Mint 13(Ubuntu 12.04) 32-bit Love-Unstable 8.0.1 installed.

Game loads to the Start/Options screen, but selecting either crashes the geame, here is the crashlog from the termainal:

Code: Select all

AL lib: pulseaudio.c:331: PulseAudio returned minreq > tlength/2; expect break up
Error: normal.lua:493: bad argument #1 to 'newRectangleShape' (number expected, got userdata)
stack traceback:
	[C]: in function 'newRectangleShape'
	normal.lua:493: in function 'normal_createworld'
	normal.lua:14: in function 'normal_load'
	menu.lua:85: in function '?'
	main.lua:137: in function 'keypressed'
	[string "boot.lua"]:124: in function '?'
	[string "boot.lua"]:337: in function <[string "boot.lua"]:318>
	[C]: in function 'xpcall'
Worst part is it captures the mouse and keyboard almost completely, thoguh I can recover by dropping to a terminal via Ctrl+Alt+F1 and using sudo killall love-unstable.

Read my problem. It needs 0.7.2, not 0.8.x. Except the mods that have been ported to 0.8.0

1.Use this : https://www.dropbox.com/s/slrmy9651n0ki ... an080.love
2.Learn to use the "escape" key.
3.Read before posting, in case your problem has been already solved.

Well you gotta admit, using escape to exit/cancel something is very uncommon.

Hi,
I appreciate the gift of "2D love" games.
Unfortunately of the 3 or 4 games I chose to test, including not-pacman, none of them run. I believe the problem is caused by the library version games-engines/love-0.8.0

Code: Select all

Error: normal.lua:493: bad argument #1 to 'newRectangleShape' (number expected, got userdata)
stack traceback:
	[C]: in function 'newRectangleShape'
	normal.lua:493: in function 'normal_createworld'
	normal.lua:14: in function 'normal_load'
	menu.lua:85: in function '?'
	main.lua:137: in function 'keypressed'
	[string "boot.lua"]:158: in function '?'
	[string "boot.lua"]:396: in function <[string "boot.lua"]:373>
	[C]: in function 'xpcall'
My environment:

Code: Select all

Linux localhost.localdomain 3.5.0-sabayon #1 SMP Sun Nov 11 10:31:31 UTC 2012 x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+ AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux
Best wishes

It's a LÖVE 0.7.2 game. Get 0.7.2 and run the game with that.

Or get automatik's 0.8.0 port (no support for that though)
