Glowser

FIXED:
When I saw the new contest, I couldn't help myself. Had to give an idea.

I knew that it was for a Portal map-pack, so of course it needed GLaDOS. It also needs portals to be involved in the battle (a portal map-pack needing portals, wonder why). No cut scenes because I can only assume they will be hard to make in multi-player. Also adding in a Mario element would be nice.

Here is what I came up with. The Numbers are places you can put a portal (Note: You can not put portals on bridges in this map)
Image
Ok. So here is how this would work.
Bowser can throw hammers and fireballs like regular. The GLaDOS part shoots aimed lasers at players (aims at grounded players in multi-player first). Your goal is to get a laser to hit GLaDOS (multiple times, probably 3)/
You will have to put a laser at 1 and 2, so the laser goes to the top.
Then quickly put a portal at 3 and 4 to go to the top as well.
Once you are there, you must put a portal at 6 and 5 before the laser reaches the end. That will send the laser down to hit the top of GLaDOS.

The light wall in the middle would seem too easy if you could hurt them by bouncing a laser through that part, so it is too late to fix it, but it would be hard enough if 3 was one square back (too late to change it in my pic.)
After you hit Glowser a set # of times, he dies, and you can go through where he was and go under the bridge to the finish!

I know it would be a lot easier in multi-player, but so are most levels. Especially when you respawn next to the farthest along player. Maybe only one person getting a portal gun, but that would be awkward and would not be expected. If you got a bunch of players in sync with one another, this level would be easy, but that never seems easy to do in this kind of game...

Hope you guys like the idea. Any feedback would be nice...

I'll work on writing it in the pic. Is visual media a program? Sorry. I am not to into artistic programs... Will try to post a simplified version worked in the picture tomorrow.
Is the idea ok?

Is my picture being able to be seen at all? I could see it on the Mac, but on the PC it is gone. I will fix that...
I thought he meant that more words should be incorporated in the picture (which probably is the case also), but I will make an awesome picture appear.
Check back and I will have an amazing picture...

Ok. For an image here, what you have to do is get a URL for that image. To do that, I think I need to post the image on a website, right? I posted it on google sites, public to all, but I think you must be signed in to see it. Is there an easier way to post pictures?

Upload it to an image host, such as imgur.

FIXED IT!
Does the picture need to be more self-explanatory and less text following up, or is it good?

I personally think that BOWDoS would be a better name.

Makes him sound like bowser got sucked into Microsoft land and turned into MS-DOS.

What I get out of that anyway

It it it

On topic, the laser doesn't seem like it lines up with block set 1 correctly. Otherwise, very good job.

It's just an idea. I am very bad at artistic stuff...
