How do I play fr?

Search for the mappack folder in the game.

Go uplevel from the mappack folder, you might find your characters library.
Go another uplevel and you'll find where to place all the files.

no, look for alesans_entities somewhere, in that location you'll find a folder called mappacks, don't place the mod contents in any of the folders, just paste the mod contents into where both folders are located

I'm making this mod compatible with version 13.1 of Mari0 AE. If anyone wants to try it out, feel free to!

For non-Windows users, open Mari0 AE, open "select mappack" and follow the "open mappack folder" step, there might be an up arrow in the file explorer, press that as it should show you where to put all the mod contents. Open the downloaded mod folder. Don't copy the folder itself, copy all the contents inside the folder you downloaded. Make sure the files you copied includes the .lua files. If you lost the mappack folder location, open Mari0 AE again, open "select mappack" and follow the "open mappack folder" step. Press the up-level button which will take you outside the alesans_entities folder, now you found your target! Paste the files and wait until it's done. Launch Mari0 AE and it should work!

This is really easy. Once you downloaded the folder as a zip file, open an extract viewer app like 7zip or WinRAR. Open the extract you downloaded, rename "Mari0 Mod" to "mari0". Copy the folder, not the extract. Press Win+R (Windows key and r). This opens the "run" command, now type "%appdata%", hit enter and open "Roaming". Now, hit Ctrl+V (paste) and launch Mari0 AE! Voila!

You can display a player's coordinates with F9, the sounds and music are changed to Super Mario Bros. Deluxe for Gameboy Color. Playing music via animation does not stop sounds.
