what do i do to add characters in Mari0?

i just downloaded Mari0 and joined this forum i dont see any folders named character or anything i have no idea what to do how do i change characters i want to be Peach and Yohi but i dont know how to add characters please help me give me step by step advice and links or just share your folder with me please :)

You have to make the folder, which you will then call "characters" and place the characters in them.

Or if you want to be precise:

1. Open up Mari0.
2. Go into the mappack selection screen and press m.
3. A folder which contains the mappacks will appear.
4. Go backwards so from there you can see the whole mari0_se folder.
5. make the characters folder.
6. insert characters.

ok i made the characters folder next to Mari0 folder and but i dont know how to load them in the game

no, no, no. you need to put it IN the mari0 folder.
are you using mari0 se or just mari0?
