I'm a bit disappointed that you didn't make it that all enemies throw hammers instead of simply being hammer bros.

A few other suggestions; rather than just straight-up copying the hammer brothers to the other slots, modify the code so they better fit the situation they're put in. Such as:
-Add X velocity to the ones replacing bulletbills.
-Add Y velocity to the ones replacing flyingfishes.
-Add the appropriate sound effects for bulletbills and fires (not absolutely necessary)

I saw one shot out of a cannon, and it didn't have any velocity...
