[UPDATE 13.1] Alesan99's Entities (Clear Pipes, Tracks, & more!)
This was in the main post but nobody read it :(NO MORE SUGGESTIONS
I already have many entities on my todo list, sorry :(
You can still report bugs and give me advice to make existing entities better.
Also, there will be a entity that nobody will expect in the next update.

I've a question with icicles.
When I place them in the editor and test them, no matter what gravity I set it as, they just instantly fall once they're spawned. Are they supposed to do that? Because if I remember right icicles should act similar to thwomps: fall when Mario is close. Is this a bug, or am I the only one experiencing this?

The gravity changes the speed it falls. At that time I didn't know how to make things fall when near. This will be fixe next update.idiot9.0 wrote:I've a question with icicles.

In SMBS, Icicles fell the instant they appeared on-screen (and phased through the ground); you didn't have to be close to them as you would to trigger a Thwomp. My idea on how I'd handle the icicles was having new ones form in the exact spot the first one drops.

This time I wasn't spamming progress updates so surprise entities!

For some reason my version was missing drygoomba.lua but still worked. It seems that I accidentally deleted it and love2d remembered what drygoomba.lua was.

I'm sorry to say this, but in my opinion, the Donut Platforms look too simple. At least you could skin them with more than just one color? They're also much thinner than your standard donut block, shaped more like a V instead of a U.alesan99 wrote:UPDATE

You can ride it just doesn't go up. It's not because I'm lazy it's because I had trouble making mario go up with the parabeetle. If you've been knowing me for some time you might remember i made a thread asking how to add powerups. Turtle gave me a very good answer but I was dumb and couldn't do it. About 2 months later (or more, time flies) here it is... Hammersuit!
It's pretty much finished except there's a bug when you get a fire flower then get the hammer suit Mario doesn't change colors. FIXED
If you've been knowing me for some time you might remember i made a thread asking how to add powerups. Turtle gave me a very good answer but I was dumb and couldn't do it. About 2 months later (or more, time flies) here it is... Hammersuit!

About the Donut Lifts i made some, they look nice in game (Actually i just found some and edited them a little)

I understand we're going for NES graphics here, but try making the donuts look nice at least? Kinda like this maybe:

I believe the hammer could be colored the same as the Hammers the Hammer Bros throw, differing based on the type of environment the player is in.

Personally I agree with Justin saying the Boos should have the sprites from SMB Deluxe for 3 reasons:
1) They look much nicer in the SMB1 world since they were made for it
2) Fitting in with reason 1, the SMB3 boos just feel out of place
3) The sprites just look overall nice. Observe
