1.584962501-bit is the term you're looking for, but that isn't a thing because x-bit only applies where x is an integer. I'm working on a strange shader right now though.

What about a 'Light's out!' shader?
The screen goes dark, flashing every couple seconds (sorta like an almost-burnt out light bulb), not dark enough that you can't see what your doing, but just enough that you have to be careful.

Anyway, how about a shader that squeezes the screen then unsqueezes it (similar to resize but it's only horizontal or vertical, not both)
Maybe make both shaders so that people can pick how they ruin their eyesight.

Determining velocity requires storage of variables, which GLSL can't do. Otherwise, this would be simple.
