But no, that's not what I meant.

Actually, no. I just lurk a hell of a lot. I only registered to post my first mappack. Moderators can IP-Check right?BobTheLawyer wrote:Alt detected.Kexaihami wrote:IT WAS FIRAGA. SHE DID IT. DON'T BLAME ME!
No interaction with firaga, new member, makes a major contribution then blames it on firaga...
I may be thinking of someone else. I read a "she"'s profile and it mentioned it, but Firaga may have changed hizzers.Hans1998 wrote:is Firaga a "she"? i didn't know.
but if Firaga isn't a "she", then excuse me, i'm bad deducing the gender of people i haven't seen ever.
If you know GLSL, they are by no means difficult to create.BobTheLawyer wrote:I like how you can use these without a mod.
Are they hard to make?
If I were to remap the portal coordinates, then you would have to use a mod. Shaders have no access to any data but a timer, the color of every pixel, and the rendering of the pixels, and have to be run every single frame on every single pixel, limiting processing power usage by a landslide.BobTheLawyer wrote:Also, could you remap the portal coords to make it easier to aim the portal gun in the circular mode?
Only the lack thereof exists, my dear. There is no "too much fun". If you have an idea for more fun, give me it, and I will make it re-rendered reality.Firaga wrote:Confirmed, I am a girl.
I actually had a lot of fun with a few of these...... too much fun.

I feel bad for you if GLSL hurts your brain. Why are you Qcode again?Qcode wrote:You need to know how to write glsl code and I find that pretty hard. There's a shader in idiot puzzles to do lighting and that took half a week for me to figure out.BobTheLawyer wrote: Are they hard to make?
What mappack is that?Firaga wrote:Confirmed, I am a girl.

This is giving me an idea to do a Tempest map pack.Firaga wrote:
A lot of my shaders are already animated.BobTheLawyer wrote:Wait, if you can use a timer, can you make an animated shader (like a flowing rainbow)?
Also, sweet looking map firaga.
Oh, you mean one that rapes your eyes more than quite a few of my other shaders? I'll get right on it.TheJonyMyster wrote:How about one where the screen flips upside down/right side up constantly?
Should be put into mirror pack.

It uses the modloader. simple but that in your mappacks folder and run the modloader.
It's not quite done.
One of the problems is that you need to start a game and then quit to menu to get it to update the list. I can't figure out how to get it to out update so help would be appreciated. Shaders go in your mappack's shaders folder.
This is unnecessary. Just put them in your shaders folder (make one next to the map pack folder) and it works in vanillaucenna wrote:I decided to make this:http://www.mediafire.com/download/amjtg ... haders.zip

Why in sans hell would you bnw times two? Do you not think about what the effect does before you do this?TheJonyMyster wrote:Looks like scale of 2 to me.
Speaking of lag, BNW lags the game, and BNWx2 is even worse.
