I'm sorry, I didn't know I needed to know about processors before putting code in my name, even though the code in my name is related to written code not programming.
I'll seriously think about my choices when picking a username next time.
My greatest apologies.

You /should/ be sorry. [/sarcasm]

But, we digress.

1.584962501-bit is the term you're looking for, but that isn't a thing because x-bit only applies where x is an integer. I'm working on a strange shader right now though.

The NTSC effect is also made with some RGB color stuff too. Try looking it up.

Kexaihami; Do you think you can make a phantom-ish shader? One that slighty bubbles up the view (and those bubbles slowly move around).
I don't know how to put it, but I hope you get the idea.
Anyways, great work so far.

Everyone likes sexy stuff. Even that tsundere chick at my school that often tries to spark conversations with me and then immediately tries to play it off as if I started the conversation by pacing around the school grounds at lunch and being approached by her. Yeah. I guess that means I qualify as "sexy stuff". She's even said the holy line: "I... it's not like I l-like you or anything, you d-dumb fuck." That was exactly how she put it. God, Clara is confused.

PEW PEW! ANTI-DERAIL GUN.

it's going to be difficult to do the Phantom-Bubble shader.

What about a 'Light's out!' shader?
The screen goes dark, flashing every couple seconds (sorta like an almost-burnt out light bulb), not dark enough that you can't see what your doing, but just enough that you have to be careful.

Anyway, how about a shader that squeezes the screen then unsqueezes it (similar to resize but it's only horizontal or vertical, not both)
Maybe make both shaders so that people can pick how they ruin their eyesight.

We could just also lock this one and do a repost, with a better organisation.
This is what happen on Facepunch when a major thread fall: We post a version number next to it to mean it's a second thread.

Example:

"Shaders"
"Shaders V2: Cause we can't get enough"
"Shaders V3: Dammit why my mind has exploded"

... and continue

Well this thread is actually alright the way it is, and when a thread fails we usually don't repeat it since it makes sense not to.
The reason chat room is V2 is because I made a joke about the apocalypse happening after we reached page 100 and the the topic was locked because of countdown spam.

Determining velocity requires storage of variables, which GLSL can't do. Otherwise, this would be simple.

True NES shader, which makes the game only use colors the NES could use.
