Title says it all. I am trying to mod according to some of the stuff in the news page, such as Tanooki Mari0 and putting hammers into ? blocks.

All you do is rename the extension, also, that stuff is from Mari0 SE, which isn't out and doesn't have a release date

I think that the news post said that you could modify the code of Mari0 to do i. Also, how do you make a .love file back into its original .zip format? All that did for me was make a file called mari0-source.zip.love (still a LOVE 0.8.0 file. How do you get past Rubber Piggy?)

Windows 7. I do not know if it has a version number, but Windows 7.

Edit: Never mind, some other topic that Mari0Maker was in helped. I extracted with 7-Zip. Now, I need to learn Lua programming.

You can right-click on the love and open with Win-Zip or Win-Rar.

I already did. Now I need to know what to modify without it crashing.

Open the folder that you have your .love in, and in the top left corner of the window click Organize > Folder and search options > View and unclick "Hide extensions for know file types". Now you can rename .love to .zip

Sorry. I saw in the LOVE wiki that you can convert a .zip into .love, and I thought that doing the opposite could allow you to change it. It turns out you can extract it to any directory, not just a .zip!
