I tried your font out. I like it, but I don't think it works well with the game in general. However, if a few people try it out themselves (they can mod it themselves, I'm lazy) and like it, then I'll put it in. Though I am leading the project it's a community based thing so there should be some decisions among everyone made.

This mod, too, is elitist and I'll accept that fact. It's not really welcome to newbies, but it's not supposed to be. It's supposed to be for those who have been here since the start or have left a very good impression on the community to be featured so when people play it they go "Ohey, that's Renhoek I'm squishing LOL" and have fun.

Maybe if post count >125 they don't get in, just to help get a solid "yes or no" decision for users. Only exceptions would be people with good (or not so good) impressions.

We've had one person show interest in being the fire flower during the start of the thread. One. And since that one person hasn't been around enough to be in this project already, I don't find any harm replacing the fire flower with something else.

Even if the flower is some root beer now, it's not the only power-up left in the game anyway. The mushroom is still available, since whoever applied for that has yet to show anything at all for it, and the Power Star is also still available. And if someone actually posts some decent sprites I could always easily take the root beer out and make them the flower if they really wanted to be it.

Also, seriously, stop complaining about it. I know you don't like the addition of root beer, but you and you alone are the only one to complain about it. It gets annoying.

You'd be easily accepted. You've been around the forum to be well known. I see your name/avatar and immediately recognize you.
Some of the spots I know are open are the Mushroom, Power Star, and Spiny, but you can be any entity in the game, since SE custom enemy will allow more than one of whatever. If you want you could even apply as Bowser, though you'd have to provide the sprites for those before I let you claim him.
I also believe that there's one last Mario position available. LF, Kiashi, and Pyrosaur have the other 3 spots (With LF and Kiashi's sets already finished)
And there's no pressure, you can be in it if you want, but no one's making you.
