Custom Tiles all white

Can anyone explain why I can't get my custom tiles to show up. It's named tiles.png, right dimension, in the correct location. What can I do to get my custom tiles to show?

Ok, this a really stupid question, did you use this guide and make it 16x16 and spaced out like a grid...

I have had this problem before.
Your computer can't handle how big of an image you put in.
Make tileset smaller, or make more tiles width wise. (It'll ultimately be the same thing as you want, but will work on your computer)

Some graphics cards refuse to display graphics with any dimension > 1024.

That happened when I didn't have drivers. Do you have video drivers?

type your GPU's name in google andu'l find the driver , download and install , and it might fix the problem
