Yes. And if you don't delete the entities from the mappack and try to access it in vanilla Mari0, then it will crash.

Also, If there is a custom entity in the first level (or intermission), you can't scroll past the mappack in the mappack list.

In case anyone forgot, I'm more than willing to find out the community's favorite of the Extra Entities. The only ones I won't count are gels. Just PM me your top 3 entities from the mod (again, not gels) to vote.

I can't set up polls, nobody can, unless it's Maurice or Saso. Just PM me the votes is all. I'm going to convert the top 5 or 10 entities to the Modloader mod.

Ahhh.... Since I don't use the modloader I probably won't vote but that would be useful. I noticed a bit of a slowdown between this mod and vanilla mari0.

Well, first I don't have much inspiration on what to add. Secondly, I am working on my own game in LOVE, so yeah. (I also have to deal with school)

I just figured out how to do the right click values for entities in the Mari0MS mod loader, so gels can be done now! Let me know which ones are your favorite.

You should make a Viridian Gel. I seen lots of .gifs that include the Viridian gel.

You mean for the geldispensers or ..? Besides, it's not useful if it's the ground gels you place.

Oh, another great post of Turtley.
If you had a fork bomb, then your computer would have crashed: A fork bomb is a program which run itself unfinitely in the background(fork), until it crash the whole OS. Mari0 spawn only one thread (music), so it's not possible.
And anyways, we can't know what's the problem until you post a screenshot and an explanation of the problem.(What happened?)
Also, you can't use preterit two times in a sentence.

That cursor looks large and a bit too over-dramatic. I also don't like the "Muncher" graphics/colors. Why not just make them black Pirhana Plants?

The Ice Flower sound effect is too soft. And if a fire/ice/gold ball is immune to an enemy, don't have it bounce off. With Ice'd enemies, they should waggle in place instead of slowly regaining speed; during it's frozen state it could be kicked like a Koopa Shell, but instead of bouncing off when it hits a wall, it shatters and dies. Speaking of frozen enemies, their palettes (as well as Ice/Gold Mario's) could use some work.

SuperJustinBros: Making people feel bad over insignificant design choices since 1998.

Superjustinbros wrote:That cursor looks large and a bit too over-dramatic.

I'll give you this one, it is pretty dumb.

Superjustinbros wrote:I also don't like the "Muncher" graphics/colors. Why not just make them black Piraña Plants?

This isn't a "let's make SJB" happy mod, no-one really cares what you personally like. They are pretty much just black Piranha plants anyway. Also, are you trying to look smart by typing "Piraña" instead of "Piranha"?

Superjustinbros wrote:The Ice Flower sound effect is too soft.

A0zora had the most brutal sound effects. The Ice Flower sound is actually fine, and I expect it was taken from an actual Ice Flower sound from another game.

Superjustinbros wrote:And if a fire/ice/gold ball is immune to an enemy, don't have it bounce off.

It... doesn't bounce off.

Superjustinbros wrote:With Ice'd enemies, they should waggle in place instead of slowly regaining speed

That is exactly what they do. You are now suggesting demanding things that are already in the game.

Superjustinbros wrote:during it's frozen state it could be kicked like a Koopa Shell, but instead of bouncing off when it hits a wall, it shatters and dies.

That's a fairly obvious idea, they probably decided it was too much work or just haven't got round to making it yet.

Superjustinbros wrote:Speaking of frozen enemies, their palettes (as well as Ice/Gold Mario's) could use some work.

I'm fairly sure your attitude could do with more work.

In response to the post that I can just anticipate of "why do you hate me I was just trying to help"...

You've come into this topic, a mod that Turtle has done a hell of a lot of work on, and listed things that you think are bad about it, some of which aren't even valid, not asking, but telling him to change them. This isn't the first time you've done this kind of thing, either. Everyone knows you from those topics you used to make, finding tiny tiny flaws in Mari0, complaining when Maurice didn't fix them. Did you notice, in this post above, you never said that you actually liked the mod? You never actually said whether it was any good, you just came in with a list of demands. It's arrogant, it's annoying, and it's rude. I sure hope learn to keep your opinions under control and stop making demands of people who are providing you with something for free, or everyone is going to actually hate you.

Camewel, you, Maurice, and Saso are probably the only guys on this forum that totally despise my existence, taking my suggestions as pure demands (is this really deviantART again?). Yes I will admit it was kind of rude that I forgot to list off the positives from the mod, and yes I did forget to mention that these should be optional choices and are not absolutely required to be implemented.

And why did I use Piraña instead of Piranha? I always had a habit of spelling it as "Pirhana", and when I go into spell-check, Piranha is not along the list of choices.

If there's one thing that I enjoyed the most out of this mod, it would be the gels, preferably the clear gel for it's catchy tune and the ice gel for you being able to abuse it to gain incredible speeds by running on it then suddenly hitting the opposite direction to send yourself flying. I also liked the dark green climber gel, hearing that squish sound effect whenever you touched/jumped off the gel was humorous. And to top it off, seeing my graphics put to good use.

It's not just those three guys who take your suggestions as pure demands. Likely 90% does. And it's not "Just like DeviantART", It's how people will read your text (so that means simply everywhere on the web). The discussion in the past about the details in Mari0 certainly do not help people see that post as an opinion or constructive criticism.
It's a common thing for people to forget that their tone of voice cannot be heard through text.

These are not suggestions, these are demands. It's not "just deviantART", or "just here", everyone who understands english knows an imperative when they see one. You're not suggesting here, you're telling them what to do.

Superjustinbros wrote:The Ice Flower sound effect is too soft.

This is not stated as an opinion, this is stated as a fact. It's actually just an opinion, and not even a particularly agreeable one.

Oh, and I can guarantee two things.

1) Saso, Maurice and myself don't "despise your existence" as we all have more important things to do than care about some angry rude guy all the time.
2) There are plenty more than 3 people with a bad opinion of you on this forum. Your crazy rant after you didn't win all the awards confirmed that one.

Calm down and just think before posting, eh?

SJB Truth of the matter is that at this point Maurice is just ignoring your proposed minor changes because 99% of your suggestions were incredibly nitpicky. I try to be impartial at everything but even I just sort of look past your suggestions. There's too many and they're too minor.

Now, moving on to the matter in this thread. Jorichi basically hit the head of the nail right there. It's because of your past reputation that you get a bit rude responses to your suggestions. Now camewel right there was being a bit too much of a nitpicky prick so he's banned and you aren't.

If you want to fix your reputation, you need to know what to just let go and how to write things. If your proposed change is "Take the laser and make it slightly more red so it looks better in the pallete", don't post it. Post things like "make the lasers glow and crackle every once in a while so they look more dangerous". Or feature suggestions that are basically new entities or new additions in general.

You'll just need to bite your tongue when posting certain things and not write out all suggestions you have. There's a place for all of those and some may never even come around.

I actually don't have anything against minor suggestions, I am a perfectionist myself, but you make a lot of "suggestions" that do not improve gameplay or even feel of the game like minor color corrections.
I really have nothing against you.

Thank you two for the clarification. After a second glance over most of my suggestions in the past, most of them were quite minor and not really necessary for editors (since it's already quite powerful and packed with features and many options to customize a map, even if it doesn't have every staple of SMB1 or the Portal series done right down to the last pixel), and most graphic-related suggestions can easily be fixed via modding the game's image files. With enemies, there's the custom enemy editor to come in SE, and sometime afterwards a user on the forums may rework it into an entity editor.

Hopefully in the future we'll get more modders with good ideas and some members of the SMB hacking community willing to share their ideas and levels.

Unfortunately, the death sprite when Big Mario dies glitches when I use the mod. You may want to fix that.

Sure, it's DEFINITELY my problem. Look, I don't know 100% sure if it's the mod, so test it on vanilla first! You can also check about updating your gpu drivers.

I tried it in vanilla, it messed up once, but it normally works.
The lasers are supposed to just injure you, but if they kill you without you being injured, it glitches up.

Pretty sure that bug is that a normal-mario 's quad is being used instead of a big-mario's quad.
That's definitely not a Gpu problem.
And Maurice tried in vanilla.(It didn't work)

This isn't Turtle's problem, it's a map design problem. If you have two lasers going into the same point (and I don't know why you'd have that but whatever) they both do damage to you causing you to die as big Mario. That's the problem.
