So I am trying to learn Love.
I was going to decide to make something big first (bob-omb), but pbalazs told me I should start smaller (so this is *smaller*, man I wasn't smart back then).
pbalazs told me to mess around with the variables, and I decided to make fire balls operate like hammers (I really needed mental help when I wrote this, obviously).

What Is Made
small Mario-Koopa-Less move, less jump
Big Mario-Flying Koopa- Mario move, Extra jump
fire mario-Hammer Bros-throws hammers (operates like hammers)


What do you guys think?
Anything that MUST go in this mod? (that is doable)

Includes Super 0' Bros

Modder-BobTheLawyer (who is asking continuous questions from people like pbalazs and Maurice)

Koopa
Slower
Jump Less


Flying Koopa
Jump Higer
Move a Little Faster


Hammer Bro
Throw hammers,
Flying koopa speed
little more jump

Jump through blocks with push of a button. (same key that you climb up vines)

Push down to go in koopa shell! You go super fast, can jump high, but you can't control your move. You move like a koopa. If you have no x speed, you will just sit there, and enemies can not hurt you.


GRAPHICS PRIMARILY BY LIGHTNING FIRE!
Help by Lyra (I promised months ago to credit Maurice with that name), FlutterPie (SMP2 at the time), pbalazs, Baf for his mappack (I asked his permission months ago, and it fits because of the shell puzzles, right?), and various others (like Turtle and QCode, I believe).

I've decided to try to include the much needed, shell movement.
Like the one in New Super Mario Bros. with the shell.
It'll work like that.
Someone give me an opinion! Should he be able to jump in that state like in New Super Mario Bros. (DS) or no?

And also, Mari0 sprites limit make this "Shell Power-up" can't be done, maybe just for "big" Mario 'cause he can duck, but the shell won't spin like NSMB
Why not just wait until SE come out, then working on the sprites
You guys could modding while SE is WIP, and when SE come out just "transport" those codes to SE, then make the sprites

I don't think that SE will fuck things up. All you have to do is somehow copy the part that you modified/code and move them to SE and see if it work or not.....

When you fire a hammer, you go down one block.

Get a game over once (lose all 3 lives) in the original level, game will act like you only have 1 life every game after.

Shell-slamming into whats supposed to be the wings, you get the hammer power-up instead.

Same thing : Can't get to 1-2-1.

With wings, if you are standing still to the left of a solid object, then you go into a shell, when you get back out, you will go 1 block below you.

With wings, if you go into a moving shell and stop, you will go to the nearest block.

You die twice when hit by an enemy.

Fireworks sprites are a little messed up.

Fireball Stick in castles sprites are hammers. Also off center a bit. (Idk if intentional or not)

If you look left while grabbing an Axe, you will 'moonwalk'.

Feather Item looks 'stretched'.

(I sorta feel like I'm an unofficial bug tester =P)

Yes, that's probably why. My left shift key broke, and I hardly use the UP key for anything. Thanks.
