So... when you get a star, you get 1000 points, and the growing mushroom sound plays?xXxrenhoekxXx wrote:... What?

It only shows the text and the mushroom sound? Well... that's a good start to modding :)
Also, your english is not bad.

Dude I'm pretty sure they're both yes because that's what happened when I played this version. I tried to mod it to add 1000 when you collected it by putting in another 'addpoints' but it was coming out as 2000 however when I went back to using your code as-is it was giving me both. You coded it better than you thought in this case I believe.JohnnyM21 wrote:First, noLightningFire wrote: So... when you get a star, you get 1000 points, and the growing mushroom sound plays?
Second, yes.
The 1000 points text show up when you get a star. Sorry for my terrible English!
It was already in Maurice's original code to add 1000 points when getting a starman. I only added the 1000 appearing text and the mushroom grow sound. BTW, sometimes, instead of getting 1000, you get 2000. I don't know why it's like that.Mr.Q.Marx? wrote: Dude I'm pretty sure they're both yes because that's what happened when I played this version. In every original Mario game I played was another difference to Mari0:
When Mario was starred and ran through a bunch of enemies the points and the sound rose and at about 1000 or 2000 point you got 1up for every next enemy. If you include this, you'll be my hero. :D
Also when i jump backwards on an enemy to the top right corner I get killed instead of killing the enemy. Great Game but this ruins a bit the Marioexperience. If you can fix this too I will be playing your mod instead of the original. :)

To speak the truth, that wasn't something that was present in the series until after SMB3.catfish wrote:In every original Mario game I played was another difference to Mari0:
