Mari0 eXTended 1.3: Jetpack!

Mari0 with extras!

NEW - JETPACK!
It's enabled by default and can be disabled in the cheats menu. Use it with space, key can be configured in the options.

  • - Better Level Editor v1.3 included
    - New cheats
    - In-game cheats menu
    - New effects
    - New sounds
    - Extended features
    • - Bullet time can slow down to 1/100th instead of 1/10th and can also fully freeze time. You can exclude Mario from bullet time and move with normal speed.
      - Starred (invincible) Mario can go through lasers
      - 99 fireballs can be thrown instead of just 2
      - Custom portal colors in single player
      - Shorter waiting times
      - Lots of other small things I don't remember...

maybe you make that when you use bullet time and make it that the time freezes them evrything freezes but mario can move like normally

Thanks, this is a fun idea, I'm trying to make it but it seems to be complicated, as the game speed is a global thing, I can't set mario's speed separately. I'll see what I can do.

Cool, thanks for the video!

UPDATE! I just made it possible to move normally with mario while in bullet time, with the kind help of Maurice! And I found it pretty cool so I'll let you try it out. Just gimme a sec to edit the opening post...

EDIT: It would be good if you made another video with the new version, so I can include it in the first post.

i keep getting this issue (it's on sta.sh from deviantART). if someone knows whats wrong, please pm me detailed instructions on how to fix it, PLEASE!

fixed it greystorm100's In-game Console mod was interfering.

hey, i was wondering if you could change bullet time to something NOT the middle button? because macbook users that only have track-pads have no middle button, and there-fore can't move when time is stopped. just a small request :)

i have an idea maybe you make the stomping on block's better when you jump and press down mario go to his jumping postition but upside-down and maybe you make a... GRAVITY GUN !

Step 1) Place both fingers together at the top of the trackpad.
Step 2) Move them downwards together,
Step 3) Be amazed that you've had that functionality all that time and you never even knew.

With the update you can configure it to the button of your choice.

i have a suggestion, maybe when you press (you can select the key in the option's menu let's say it will be 1) and them time will be freezed and mario will be exluded so it will be faster.

and the unlimited powerups feature is actually a bug, I didn't notice it :P
