I just searched and I didn't really find anything. Ugh, I know I read it somewhere before but I can't remember.
You can right click on the Mari0 app and open file contents (actually I'm not really sure what it's called..I don't use Macs)
Maybe everything saves inside the app's folders. If it follows a similar file path to the ones described on how to install mods on PC, maybe you can put the mods folder in there. I don't know what the Mac equivalent of the AppData folder on PC is.

The equivalent of "Appdata" on Windows is "Library"... It's found on the yourname folder.
