[MOD] [1.6] RailGun 1.2

I always felt Mario was missing something. And that something was...being able to fire off aluminum bolts at close to light speed. This is the first iteration of my mod; I have some other ideas I may or may not do as my time is limited. Haven't tested this on multiplayer, or every single cheat mode, or even very heavily at all, so caveat emptor.

Use the cheat by changing the MODE from 'portal' to 'railgun'. It uses coins as ammo. If you also turn on 'goomba attack', you get unlimited ammo as well as the firing rate being twice as fast. My previous 'bullet-time remap mod' is already incorporated in this mod. Turn the bullet-time cheat on as well to really make it feel and sound Matrix-like! If I get time I'll try and post a video.

Installation-wise, its just like any other mod, you need the latest unstable build of Love to run it. *UPDATE:* You no longer have to remove your old config file, it will read your old one and make a new one, but you will have to redo your control mapping.

Mod looks cool, but if your mod doesn't support the current options.txt variables why not make it use a custom one? Like my current test build of hat loader uses hl_options.txt so as not to conflict with main build.

doesnt work, trying it out and bullet time will only work when using scroll and gun doesn't shoot.

bullettime worked after rebinding the button to a key, but never got gun to shoot.

You're right, I'm using a joystick, but when using the mouse, it won't let you remap the portal buttons, yet they aren't working either, I'll get a fix up shortly.

I just downloaded this, and it is actually pretty awesome! Just one thing though. The sound effect is a little off. It seems like it should end sooner, instead of hearing the "warp-like" sound. Also, the sound effect is a little loud. However, this mod is actually pretty fun!

Whoops you just made a complete ass yourself.

@Furious: Despite Wary's rudeness, he's right. JVswaggMiner had a reason for bumping as he had a problem with running the mod. It was a legitimate bump. Those are OK.

You don't "install" the mod.
The "mod" is just the entire modded game. Make sure that you have LOVE installed, then just double-click on the downloaded mod.
