Just off the top of my head, you have to re-add the require netplay.lua to main.lua and somewhere in it re-add or uncomment netplay_update(dt). then to activate the menu for c for client yada yada you have to change gamestate to "onlinemenu".

Could you elaborate on how to get it working? It's kind of confusing.

start a copy of the game, hit s for server, start another copy of the game, hit c, go back to first one and hit enter.

When I tried that, the client said 'waiting for server' still.

he left his IP in netplay.lua , i thought checking that would be a given but guess not.

I did that. It's probably because I'm on a Mac or something like that.

You don't know what you're talking about.

Um...
Are you asking for online multiplayer to be added?
Because, you know, this is already a thing that is being worked on.

Correct! Also:

1. Clearing your portals causes the other player to crash.
2. You cannot use the other player's portals.
3. If you both are on different maps the game will just let it through and the other player will appear to be floating or stuck in a wall.

Well what did you expect? A fully working netplay that I commented out because the weather was bad?

To be honest, I wouldn't even bother. This is an unofficial release and it is completely how Maurice made it, unfinished. Any interaction with an entity will crash the other player's client. Clearing your portals also crashes the other player's portals. However, I heard skyy had something working...
