help with custom hats and love

ok when i use love i get the rubber piggy thing and im trying to do custom hats for mari0 please help

I'm gessing you're running windows. You have love2d 0.8 as a nice blue icon in a folder somewhere. Somewhere else you have a mari0.love or a mari0\ folder in which you edited stuff. drag either onto the love2d icon, it should load mari0 correctly. make sure if you zipped the game yourself you zipped the files, not a containing folder.

ok i dont understand i am running windows and i have a mari00-win folder wich has mari0 and a love icon and when i click on love it shows rubber piggy when i drag love onto mari0 it opens mari0 and i can play it but how do i do the hats?

you have to unzip the mari0.love file (after renaming it to mari0.zip) in a folder, and edit some hat files like people explained somewhere else. I can't help you with that. then rezip those files into a mari0.love file, and run it with love 0.8 again.
